My kids and I enter the Fairs around our area every year. I've been doing it for aboyt 5 years and my kids started doing it about 2 years ago. We usually take 1 day just for baking cookies, cookie bar

We usually take 1 day just for baking cookies, cookie bars, brownies and all kinds of stuff. The next day usally is bread day. We all do pretty good at both Fairs.

Sounds fun. I live in a big city, so we don't have the small town county fairs that you see on television.

I love going to the Fair! I enjoy the smells and the sights. Kudos for including your children in a fun activity!

My community holds a school & community fair in September and I have great memories of making baked goods to exhibit and seeing all the neat decorated cakes and baked goods brought by others.
