Well since my hubby went to Heaven my two dogs have been looking for him.They have been staying very close to me.Including my 34# Romeo jumping up on my lap when I'm in my recliner.They know something isn't quit right.They are definitely a huge part of my family.They are trying to comfort me.

Yes Gale I really do think that our pets know when something isn't right assuming that they have been part of the household for a while. Isn't it that an extra part of them that we love? And I think that animals are smarter than some people give them credit for. Do you?

I have a kitty & her name is Fuzzy. She's nine & I simply adore her. She's my bed buddy and it's so great that she doesn't snore and she doesn't mind that I do! She's a long haired Siamese with the biggest blue eyes that you've ever seen. We sit and have conversations that go on for several minutes sometimes. After all this time together I think that she's got me trained to read her mind! When she wants something I usually get it for her before she even asks me. She takes after her ma (me) and loves cheeses & for her the smelliest ones are best!

Maestro has a new behavior/activity:
He sits next to paw paw & taps hubby's tummys if to say( "Hey you;I'm here get me...fil in the blank!
By now hubby( paw paw )knows just what is wanted( a cuddle; a cookie/treat grooming g or prhaps it's meal time???????????; But that usually gets a more agressive tapping(Kitty punch)

GRANA here;'Mastro nearly 10yo ( 70 in catyears has had many health isues since we rescued him teeh & eyes.
He's always been emotonally ensitive.He used to wake us up@ 2AM to cuddle.Latelyhes been letting s sleep till AM We didnt now if weshould be greatfull or cncernedButtoday he letus al leep until naearly 7 then began jumpin oN ALL of useven neary6yo Cali .
once we were all up he began to take toys from their toy basket,,,every toy got tossed in the air or batted around the house like a hockey puck.He's eating more& seems more self assured; if this
i s "the end " we're sogreatful that he is happy & hope he continueshis days so till the end
Our other kitties have always live till 16 yo or nearly so,.Whatever, we hope & plan to enjoy every day w/ him till the end.
Cali's not o sure she likes this new energeticMaestro, she's aways been a late sleeper & couch potato; this bouncy 2nd childhood Maestrointeferes w/ that.But she loves hin joined in his PLAYTIME for awhile
