lol -- I just went out to get the mail and the woman who lives in the condo south of mine was getting her's........ she asked if I would baby sit her three cats over their Christmas. Of course.
I just finished sitting the cat of the woman who lives north of me. Everyone knows how I love and treat cats. .... and that I'm always home

After My cat Darling died 10 years ago I have not allowed myself to become attached to any of the other animals we have. I don't like the dogs we have cause I don't like needy animals. and the two cats that we have are very independent and don't like to be bothered with. Mits doesn't like being held and Molly only likes to cuddle when the weather is very cold. She is the only one I like, cause she swats the dogs when they bother her.

Well Cookie did not make it to her 14th birthday. On the 2nd we had to put her down. We are devistated but her body was shutting down. Every minute of the day there is something that reminds us of her. We miss her dearly.

Our pet Natasha "Tasha" has always been a member of our family we received her as a gfit from my mother. That was in July of '96. She was 14 1/2 yrs old when we lost her on November 30th from complications of pancreatitis. She was a wonderful little dog and a loving companion. We miss her terribly and always will.She was the sweetest little Toyfox Terrier always full of vim and vigor and how she loved that tennis ball. Although blind for the past few years she would still manage to find her dozen or so tennis balls and play with them.
She always greeted us with a wagging tail and her little bark whether we were gone two weeks or two minutes. She now resides on our mantle in a little urn next to her best buddy, Penuche, the cat. He died several years ago from lung cancer. He was another sweet member of our family who loved to roam the streets and greet all our neighbors.
Two great animal who will never be forgotten and forever missed.

Oh, Deborah, I'm so sorry about your Tasha. That's sad. I know what you are going through, as anyone who's had a pet like that knows. After our housefire 11 years ago, we lost our beloved Pepper. She was a shepherd/lab mix, very gentle and lovable. However, the fire was so traumatic for her that she couldn't cope so a few months later, we had to have the vet put her to sleep. It was not something I wanted to do, but it was the most humane thing for her. I still miss her terribly!

My little condo was built in in 2008 so it's solid and tight. I keep the thermostat set on 68 but Peaches still lays* on the heat vent in the bathroom ........ until she wants to lay on the keyboard.

* I never have learned the correct use of "lay, lie, laid" and so on.
