Badcat LOVES to have his belly scratched .... Isn't that funny? He wants his belly rubbed all the time - the harder the better.

HiNANCY; Cali often exposes her blly as if for tickle belly/rubbing but she gets nervous& bites if you try to .Maestro on the other hand, loves it( softorhard) & rolls over on comand to allow tickle belly.Since Cali oined us he's begun to grab my hand w / all 4 paws, bings it to his mouth & licks w/abadon.The first cple imes,I thought :
"UH OH, he's learned from Cali & is going to bite me"

Our families are all either deceased or living thousands of miles away.
Being empty nestors i s not a problem.. our .2 furry kids take up the slack just fine; never talking back & usually giving much more than they ever take from usI

Ann you are so lucky they don't talk back. LOL Both my puppies do if they can't have their way.I do kind of enjoy their conversations,they are two spoiled brats.Juliet went up the stairs and I didn't realize this until I heard her tumble down,she has not tried since then,luckily with no injuries just scared.Love those Kitties they are your best friends in this whole world.

Our Dolly is 11+ years old and will be missed terribly on that eventual day. We not only have Dolly , our baby, but we also have grandpuppies. One Skiperkee, One Pit mix, one mutt, and two English Mastiffs make up our canine grandspuppies. It is amazing to be greeted by an English Mastiff; just be sure you are well grounded. They expect us to bring treats just like the grandkids. As for ownership I can guarantee that Dolly sees us as her possessions/servants.

I spent a lot of time this morning going back and forth with my Dr.s office,the pharmacy and my insurance company.My Dr.s nurse wrote a prescription for the wrong amounts on one of my meds.I've been upset all day.My two sweet little dogs came over to comfort me and have'nt left my side all day.They truly are my best friends.I don't know what I would do with out them.

ohhh Gale -- what a difficult morning. I'm so sorry this happened. People important to our health make mistakes and we have to straighten them out. Not fair.

HiFOLKS; Cali has become a"LAP CAT" Just what the cat expert" vet said she would never be.When hubby relaxes on his new easy chair; feet up on the ottoman;Cali makes herself to home on his extended lap..At nght, she often sleeps on my or hubby's shoulder( we're side sleepers)

we're both so pleased weignored that docs prediction&i & didn't give up on Cali

I understand the joy you feel about an emerging lap cat.
A couple nights ago Badcat slept between my knees. Oh joy!!
Both of these rascals used to sleep on my chest but gave that up when they got so BIG.

Oh Ann,Some times I get so angry with people and animal Dr.s They generalize everything.All it takes is love and caring and some more love and they come around.It makes you feel good when you can change things for the better.Cali loves both of you.Who knows what happened to that poor kitty before you adopted her.Juliet has gone up a few more times but someone was here to rescue her lol It was so hot with the two of them laying on me last night.Can't wait till the new air is put in.

What two beautiful cats! I just love looking at pictures of our loving family members! So precious!!!!

I think our little babies know when we don't feel good or something is wrong! I hope your problem got resolved, thank God you noticed the error and nothing happened to you!

As far as our pets talking, Jinx talks alot! When he talks, he sits up, moves his 2 paws like he is rowing a boat and just talks and talks! I just love him to pieces...my little baby boy!!

My two little angels just finished trashing the house I had to sweep the floor in the living room again! LOL ! Now they are playing tug of war and chase.Juliet comes over every once in awhile for me to pick her up and love her,Romeo is not sharing the rope with her.lol lol lol .

Big Badcat and little Peaches have wonderful chases ..... one chases the other full speed from one end of the condo to the other. When they hit the end they just turn around and the chased one becomes the chaser. And they have terrific wrestling matches but one NEVER actually bites the other ..... they bare teeth and set them on the other but don't clamp their mouth. Those teeth are set on me all the time but the mouth is never closed. Whew!!

Gale and Nancy, The races are fun to watch, but don't get in the way!!! When you have at least 5
cats, you see races everyday! Funny thing, there are never more than 2 cats at a time racing! lol
