I try to do all of the choices daily(knowing how temporary life can be
My kitchen (counters& drawers never seem to get cleaned out/off to hubby's satisfaction ..I think I would finally get them done, so hubby wouldn't have to take care of it himself.

The last words I spoke to my 18 year old son were...."Drive carefully. I love you David!" The last words he spoke to me were..."I will. I love you too Mom!" He was killed 3 hours later and I never heard his voice again. I also whispered "I love you" into each of my daughters ears as they received their wings and flew off to Heaven. They were just little babies but I know they felt their momma's love! ♥

Those 3 words are powerful and are always the last 3 words I say when parting or hanging up the telephone. Never ever give up a chance to tell some one "I love you"!!

Renee, you have certainly had some difficult "goodbyes". We learned to speak those words early on in our lives and I, too, practice it. You just never know.

You never know when your last day will be here. We have had 2 bad accidents in the last week
here in our small town in Nebraska. We have 1800 people in our town. The accident last friday was
2 pickup met on a hill on a gravel road ! young man was killed. Last night a grain truck and school bus
had an accident on a gravel road. Drivers of both were killed, 2 children died and another 5 children were
taken to the hospital and 1 child was flown to Omaha's Childrens Hospital. The Children were all between
the ages of 6 and 10 years old going home after school.

I really would be grateful for the day, and try to make the most of it. One thing more....we have been married for 54 1/2 years. Every night, when we go to bed, we kiss and say to each other..."I love you". Even if we have had a "bad" day, we still say that, and mean it!

Oh how sad Sara. In a town that size you probably know almost everybody and when things happen it's hard to deal with. My prayers are with you and all in your town.

Althought sometimes it doesn't seem like it, every day is a blessing and should be celebrated as such.

If I knew tomorrow was my last day I guess I would have to make sure that my husband would be taken care of. He would not understand if I was not there anymore I think it would be pretty hard for him for a while.
I would have to make sure my dogs would be taken care of.
I would have to make sure the cats would also be taken care of.

There are a few people that I would call and talk to.

Sobering thoughts. I guess I should take care of some of these things.

I would write notes to all my loved ones. Write down instructions for taking care of the bird, dog & running the dishwasher

, eat what ever I had a yen for, relax in a nice bubble bath & fall asleep praying.

I wish I would have made that last phone call to my dear sister.I was busy and didn't do it and then I got the phone call.I told her I loved her every time we spoke and I sure hope she knew I loved her.I was with my mom holding her hand this is something I prayed for to be with her when she left us.My Dad left without me being there.My mother in law always gave me the best advice even if hubby and I were having an argument never to go to sleep without a kiss and telling each other that we loved them.I tell my family and my close friends that I love them every time we speak.

I would just like to spend the day with my husband....nothing special I want to do..just spend it together and enjoy the day
