We will spend a quiet night at home.  I will cook something special for my husband and I.  It is impossible for us to go out to dinner with his MS.  It is hard for him to get around; plus he's had hives from the medication for the MS.

What I would really like for Valentine's Day is to have a visit from my daughter who lives 2500 miles away.  That would be the best day ever.

It's been 11 years. After 30 years together there is no hope left. Thanks to all but enjoy yourself.

Good question Julie.I voted for nothing special.Still looking for the right lady. John, sorry man.Losing someone you love is so hard.Sounds like you had a great life with her.

Thanks Preston. You have no idea what a blessing she was to me. I really believe sh was an Angel sent to me. Unfortunately that is also why I don't talk to God anymore. He has everyone at his beckon call and He could have left my Freddie Nell with me or taken us both together. I would rather that. Afte 29 years 2 months 6 days she died in my arms at 6:28 pm on
January 13, 2000 in our living room. All that time we never had a fight or went to bed mad. Hope you can find a lady near as good for yourself. Happy Valentines to all and good luck.

Thank you everyone for the welcome.  Julie, I tried to insert a picture into a post, but I guess I don't know how.  I did, however, figure out how to post one in my profile.  Here is a picture I made for my grandson's 11th birthday, which was on Christmas Day.  He asked for an "Elf" cake, and this is what I came up with.  Every year, he comes up with something different that I have to figure out how to create.  I enjoy doing it for him.

Mary, send the kids a card so it reaches them with at least a week to spare.  I am sure they will "get the hint" and send a card.
