Know the feeling. Got two MRI's yesterday and my broken back didn't like it at all. Just able to sit up again today. Glad I got this laptop so I can use it in bed or anywhere.

((( BIG HUGS))) for both of you.  I wish there was something I could do to help.
It does one good to "wine" once in a while although if you are both on medication then the other whine will have to do.
Nancy, Take care get some rest.
John, I can't imagine a position that would be comfortable.  I have had muscle spasms in my back and I thought that was agony, I can't imagine a broken back!
By the way those were gentle big hugs!

((( John ))) you make me feel guilty for whining.  I'm so sorry about your back.
My next MRI isn't due until May and I am totally confident I'll said right through it.

{{{{{Warm hugs}}}}} to all of you who are on that private pity party list.  I'll keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers and hope you feel better tomorrow!  I may add my name after this weekend!

John...

I sure hope you feel better!  I know what you are going through, I had (Lumbar) back surgery and also 2 surgeries done on the (Cervical) neck with the second surgery leaving me with an insert, plate and screws.  I wish you the best...get well!

Nancy...

I hope you are taking care of yourself!  Migraines are horrible, so stay in a quiet and dark room.  I certainly hope you are not getting a cold, better fight it Nancy!

Thoughts and prayers for both of you!  Behave!!

Sorry to hear you all aren't feeling well.  Nancy, I used to have migraines every day(then I quit that job lol) but not so much anymore.  Dark and quiet is the only thing that seems to work for me.  John, I know even minor back pain can be a problem.  Can't imagine what you are going through but have to believe it will get better for you.  All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I think a short term pity party is good for the soul.  The bit of time that you feel sorry about a situation, cry a bit and have some chocolate.  Things seem better after a bit of chocolate, some things more than a bit however.

We all need to whine at times - just don't let it become a habit.

I think it is GOOD to whine sometimes.  If you do it effectively, it gives you a chance to vent & helps you to find something to laugh about.  I have always thought that NO ONE can feel as sorry for me as "good as I do it myself"!

I hope everyone feels better soon.  I will save my own whines for later.

Short term whining or a pity party is acceptable - how ever set a limit and don't make it a habit.

Nancy, I hear you about the migraines.  I used to get them and would lose 2 days of my life each time.  The first day in bed, getting up to throw up and the next day feeling like I'd been run over by a steam roller.  Finally I'd had it when I got 3 in a space of 2 weeks so my doctor gave me a prescription for a pretty inocuous drug that I took every day.  I later cut to every other day and now I take 3 a week.  Have not had a migraine in 10 years :-)  Actually no kind of headache.  Migraines are the worst.  Looking humorously at the positive side of them was with all the ab exercise of throwing up, I had a nice flat belly.  Not any more, but I don't want the migraines back.

I don't make a good sick person. I hate being sick, not able to do the things that need to get done. I am grateful for my health, not usually sick.
