What's on tap for Christmas???
Discuss all things non-baking
We will be spending the eve with my brother and the day with friends. The weather is warm and sunny and after all the baking I've done, I still have to make an apple pie and yule log. Merry Christmas

Christmas Eve will be quiet day right here with the cats.  I'll cook a nice little ham dinner.
Christmas Day is a Sunday so it's church.  We'll have the usual morning service then sandwiches and such
in the basement.  Then we'll go back upstairs for a very early, shortened version of the Sunday evening service.

GRANA here;
 Hubby tried to find a CHRISTMAS EVE OR DAY BUFFET for us to attend....found nothing; s so it W il be just  the 2 OFUS & 2KITTIES at home for DINNER ( MENU tbd)
iI'm thinking seafood( shrimp fish steak w/ prime veggies( asparagus&  glazed baby carrots...he's thinking roast lamb w/potatoes.I think my veggie choices ill go well w/ his lamb so that might be a compromise we can both  accept......Both kitties like lamb & shrimp so at this moment, since you ask, that is our tentative plans
pERHAPS a SPECIAL DESSERT pickeup atthebakeryor ice cream shoppe to complete the meal.Undecided
We've Nobody near enough to join or invite over or even meet somewhere for a nice dinner or lunch out Those we do know will be getting together w/ family so we're left to our own.
Since we observe Hannukah, [ 12-21 /> 12-28; we really don't feel the loss of a family Christmas together.Cool
 Our menu wil be the traditional Hanukah potato pancakes w/ applesauce & sour cream; possiby served w/  very
  untraditional boneless dble thick  porkchops ( like  mini pork roasts) Surprised
we've aready been singing Christmas carols from ourYouth (sung every year in public school) & trying to look foward to a white  CHistmas,while Selfishly hoping for
NO SNOW!Embarassed
