I can't believe Christmas is 2 months away and it's that time to start my Christmas shopping, but I also happen to make a list of MY Christmas wishes.  But, when I look over my list, I think my most important wish for this upcoming year is a Healthy and Prosperous New Year.  This past year we lost 2 loved ones to Cancer and also another loved one was diagnosed with Cancer.  I just found a new job a few months ago after being layed-off for a year due to the economy.

So, what's on your list?

The past two years have been very difficult so this year I'm stepping out ... I wish for peace and .... well .... I'm going to make certain that I can do something to bring peace and good things to other people.... needy people.

Gee - I hope I don't sound all goody- I sure don't mean to.

I would like to see a cure for MS.  My husband has it.  The medications he was taking for the MS (I gave him shots every day) and he also took a pill for leg spasms) caused him to break out in hives, which he has had since February.  Right now he is off all the medication and the dermatologist has given him various creams to use for the hives and he itches and scratches.  They said it may take nine more months to get out of his system.  That is my prayer and wish for Christmas!

I'm sorry for your losses but glad you landed a job & am able to think about & participate in Christmas buying.  I always wish for peace but with 4 teenagers & 3 dogs- -not happening.  I like my life, really but some days I want them all to go away & leave me be.  Money's tight this year so I try to keep it simple.  I've asked my husband for 2 magazine subscriptions.  Kids/dogs/nieces/nephews make out heartily.  I've always started shopping in August & finished by Halloween-I REFUSE to walk in a toy store after that...too crazy/too pricey/too crowded/not in stock.  I've been lax the last few years but still start in August.  Except for food & clothes, I buy whatever grabs my eye & it's usually on sale.  Don't mention Christmas before Thanksgiving to my husband-he goes nuts...stores are rushing the holiday & making their quota higher & higher each year even though the economy isn't good or families are scaling back.  For gifts, I go for useful & simple.  My nieces are easy.  We have a new baby this year but I've remained level-headed even though it's hard while shopping for babies

I hear you Marie F, my sister has MS too and she was the one that was just diagnosed with Cancer.  She gives herself shots daily too for the MS.  Prayers will be said!

My wish is for this country to get back on track economically.  And if it takes putting Republicans (or CATS) in office, I am all for it.   :)  Plus I wish for better health for my family and friends and for goodwill to fill everyone's heart worldwide.

My prayers are for Peace and the return to the beliefs that made America great. When you start to age, you worry about how the world will be for your grandchildren. Lets try to leave it better  for everyone.

My Christmas Wish List....
1. That my husband doesn't deploy.  2.  That my sister's cancer stays in remission.  3. My son and his sweet little girlfriend become engaged.  4. No paper cuts during wrapping.  5. No burns while baking.

My shopping has been done for months!  I'm ready to focus on the true meaning of the season now! Innocent

I wish that all of my shopping and wrapping were already done so I could enjoy the holiday with my family and friends without being stressed out.
