I've lived in Cleveland,Ohio all my life and if you ever come to Ohio try to go to the Westside Market ,it's worth the trip. It's like going to Europe. There is everything you could possible find for your ethnic and of course good old american cuisine. The outside of the market is filled with fresh produce and eggs, the inside has many many meat, fish, poultry, bakery, spices and anything else you could possible think of.When my boys were little it seemed like every stand we went to gave them something to eat, they never ate their lunch after going there. The Market is over a Hundred years old and is a landmark here. Some of the restaurants here are fantastic.Several Chefs have done their shows from here.Iron Chef Michael Symon also has a few restaurants here.If you are ever in the area please check us out.Tell us something about your hometown that you are proud of.

The West Side Market is a wonderful place.  I haven't been there lately, but my friend goes there all the time.  She justs loves the quality of the food she buys there.

My dad was born in Wheeling WV and was raised in Cleveland. We visited there sevral times years ago. Would like to go back and just see. I was young and remember a few things but everything will be different. That market sounds nice.

The Westside Market sounds like a great adventure.  When I lived near Detroit, Michigan we would go to Eastern Market there.  They also had a variety of shops with chese, meats, etc.  Also Greek restaurants were there also.

Westside Market in Cleveland sounds wonderful.  I lived in Struthers, Ohio and went to nurses training at St. Luke's Hospital years ago.  I haven't been back to Cleveland for many years, but will surely visit the market If we do.   I've been to Fanel Hall in Boston and the St. Lawrence Market in Toronto.  They are great too.  Mary Ann S.
