I've taken that survey many times. I give them good marks on the site and when I was having the "gooey" problem I put that in at the end

Hopefully, someone who read my survey was awakened!! If so, perhaps we will be seeing some "good things" happen here on this site very soon! "They" keep saying they are trying to give us back some of the "old site". How hard can it be? If they can't fix what they have, perhaps they shoud "can" this site and just go back to the old one. That would suit me fine!

warning!!!

shortly after i posted this i got a very strange call on my home phone from an unidentified caller
he spoke very garbled english and there was a lot noise in background
best i could tell-------he said he was calling from MSN about an error report on my computer (i have not made one) i told him that he would have someone who spoke better english call me so i could understand and he said no don't hang up and apparently handed the phone to someone else that was not much better--------but what i think he said was that they needed to sign on my computer with me so the could find my problem-------------------i said------youu know---this sounds like one of those scams-------the dial tone came on

i don't know if was related but------------be careful

I wasn't asked today but have been in the past.I have taken them but received no phone call to my knowledge,but then I do not answer the phone if I don't know who is calling.If they can't leave a message oh well it must not be very important.

I get so many telephone solicitation calls all day every day .... J C Penneys recording calls every single day 6 days a week ... that I've disconnected my answering machine. If I leave that connected I get 6 or 7 illegal calls recorded every day. (they're illegal because I'm on the National Do Not Call list) I still get the miserable calls but they aren't answered.

I don't think it asks enough about the "Community" section to be of much use to get information about "problems" related to the site. Most of the time is asks if you got the information you came to the site for, if you came to "chat" or get recipes. It is also trying to determine if the site was easy to navigate.
I have never been called about an error. I can tell you I would never give any info like that. If I have any reservations about a call I will hang up and call the company back rather than talk to someone who called me.
Ok call me paranoid.

Nancy, the only way to stop most of the illegal calls is to report them. The DO NOT CALL website has a place for you to do that. If you have an account with Penneys' you can "opt out" of being contacted. Unfortunately there is no way to block political or (supposed) charitable calls. I have no problem with legitimate charities, just the scam ones.

I haven't had the survey on here in about a year. Maybe I've been a bad girl? LOL

H.M. I'll try ....... JC Penneys (and 2 dozen other outfits) has promised to remove my number. Thursday morning I talked to a supervisor and she promised she would call me that evening or Friday morning with the good news that my number had been removed without the 30 day waiting period. Bah.

I get the request to complete the survey about once a week, but I choose not to complete it. I'm not confident that they are looking for our specific problems (i.e. gooey), so I don't bother completing them.

i am also on the do not call list on my cell phone , home phone -in addition to the numerous calls on my land line------------now i'm getting them on my cell phone-----plus text messages
but to file a report -----you must have specific info and they don't give you that

the only reason i ans yesterday-----------we were in the middle of severe weather and that sometimes affects our caller id
