How are you doing with the weather problems?  Did you get affected by Irene and this latest noreaster snow storm?  This last storm we had a lot of branches down and no electricity for over 12 hours.  With the other storm we've had flooding problems in the past and had mold in our finished basement.  My sons and I cleaned everything out of the basement.  Kept items that were good, threw out items with mold and my sons took several truckloads of books, clothing and household items that were not affected by the mold to Big Brothers and Big Sisters.   Then we had someone come in and gut the whole basement, wallboards, rug, bathroom, etc.  Now we have someone putting it somewhat back together, fixing the bathroom, leaving the cement floor and cinder blocks.  Were you affected by either storm?
New Jersey was hit hard by both storms.  There are still people without electricity.  We were fortunate that it was only over 12 hours.  The other storm was only 4 hours.

We have been fortunate so far.  However, my parents got hit a few weeks back.  The tree in their yard was hit and many of the branches came crashing down.  It bent their fence and antenna and the whole tree had to be taken down.  Luckily, no one was hurt.

I read in today's paper that NYC had 1000 trees to clean up in Central Park. They fell over from the weight of the snow.

Fortunately, we have been having good weather, although my sister-in-law in PA lost electricity for three days and the snow was so heavy that trees were bent low.
