A week ago it was 97 degrees...since Sunday it has been in the low 70s,  Much better!  Lots of rain the last couple of days and sprinkles due on and off today, but right now the sun is out!

I think we skipped spring except for the tornado that wiped away alot of the town.  I pray for all those who are working in this heat (mid 90's)  trying to clear debris.

At 6 am it's 80 witha heat index of 83 in Hot springs, AR - with a high of 98  expected. - heat index above 100 - no rain.

Weather here in Southern coastal Maine has been quite nice.  it is as I remember it when I lived here.  Cool morning, change to shorts for mid day and back to jeans later.  A couple little showers in late afternoon the last couple days.

This morning we had BIG, bad t-storm move through .... just like yesterday.  Now it's sunny, very pleasant 77*.  Another nasty storm is forecast for tomorrow morning.  I can't imagine trying to get across the parking lot, across the lawn and into church in such rain.

 we have all the flooding along the missouri right now. Very humid, alot of misquitos and the collage world series started today.

We have had thunder showers almost daily in central IL
A friend who just returned from her daughter's in TX said they had only 1 inch of rain since Jan.
We wished we could share.

It's 82 with a heat index of 86 in Hot Springs, AR at 7 am this morniing with a high of 98 expected no rain till Tuesday - maybe!!

Thanks Nancy, Yes we are safe, 5 miles north of the devastation.  My avatar is Dudley our fluffy Corgi who is a therapy dog and keeping busy these days.
