Maxine M, where do you live that you get to enjoy 70º?  it was 90 here in central MO.  We live out in the country so I'm sure it was hotter in town.

It's 76 in Pine Bluff, AR this morning with a high of 95 expected.

It was 95 today with humidity.  I was at work all day, but after supper went out to see how the zucchini plants were doing.  Oops, I had missed a couple

The last I heard, it was 95 and very very humid.  Tomorrow is supposed to be a little warmer and still humid.  By Friday it is suposed to be over 100 and very very humid.

We  were back to 90 today throughout the week  the temp should increase daily. Hot today, hotter tomorrow, miserable as the week  progresses.

It's 74 this morning with a high of 96  expected in Pine Bluff, AR.  A heat advisory is in effect from 1 pm until 7 pm.

It was 76 here "out in the country" in central MO.  Warmer in town with a high to be in the upper 90's.  Now they are saying the heat advisory is continuing through Saturday.

How did we ever cope before the days of Air Conditioning?  I remember it wasn't fun. 
Gallons of lemonade and sleep on the floor on the first floor - the bedrooms upstairs were toooo hot!
Fans helped - if you had fans.  No power, no fans.

This week NY is mid-90's & severely hot.  Weatherman said nothing compared to upcoming weekend....100's expected Friday-Monday.  My puppies are wilting during the day but plenty of ice water & they've been hanging out in my son's room - it's dark & with the floor tornado fan, they seems comfy

95 here today but it feels hotter.  i grew up in Maine where nobody had air conditioning.  It generally didn't get too hot.  Now and then there's be a day or 2 that got to 90.  We would play in the cellar which was always cool with the granite walls and clay floor.

The official temp today was 100 ..... on my way to church I saw 102*, 103* and 99*.
In my truck I think it was 200*

Our heat warning was supposed to expire today at 7 pm.  Then it was pushed to 8 pm on Saturday.  This morning it is going on until Sunday night.  I bet it doesn't stop there.  It was 76 this morning at home and 81 in town
