Rain descended upon southern Cal (LA area) last night, continuing through tomorrow. This is really unusual. We can have June-gloom in May and June but I don't remember actual rain into May. The temp is 50 right now at 10:15.

Verlee,  Our weather has really been strange the last couple of years. I used to plant my
tomatoes in March, now I planted them at the end of April. Last year they got hailed on
in April and we had June gloom in May and June. I can remember putting on the air in
Feb. a couple of times. I know LA got more rain in this last storm. Thankfully it is going
to warm up until Sunday when we get another 60 degree day.

It's 67 and more humid this morning in SE AR  with a high of 84 expected.

Yes, we have weather (LOL) rain & 57 one day, then rain & 68, 77 & dry, then 54 & rain, today was 74 & rain & tomorrow is to be in low 80s & stormy, rain  for next 8 days & in the low to mid 60s.

8 AM - the temp is 69* .... it's supposed to go into the 80s this afternoon.  And there *might* be more serious storms this afternoon.  There will probably be serious storms tomorrow.   
Losing our power yesterday for almost 10 hours felt so bad and nothing at all compared to the storms in a different part of the state.

My daily prayers include protection and guidance for those affected by the recent tornadoes. I have experienced both tornadoes and earthquakes, and I maintain having an earthquake is better than a tornado any day.

Early this morning we've been pounded by terrific thunder storms - tornado watch.
This afternoon another massive storm is moving in.
