In Iowa there are two cameras perched 80 feet above the ground watching this mother Eagle sit on her eggs.  Two have hatched and the last should hatch in2 days.  She feeds them with what the father brings her.  It is so darling.

Go to  www.southbendtribune.com  That is the HOME page.  Scroll down, almost to the botom of page.  Look for ON THE WEB on the  left hand side.  Then under on the web titles to the right side of WEB heading  click on  Watch - Iowa Eagles hatching.
They said they will continue to display LIVE until the last Eagle has hatched, maybe, two more days from today.

Children can learn and enjoy this.  Feeding time is about 4:30 to 5:15 or so the last couple days. Then chicks can be seen.  They are sooooo cute!

I heard they were supposed to hatch on April 1 but I don't know if this happened.  It is quite an exciting thing to have happen.

Went back to the website, but the mama didn't move off the eggs. I will try again later on today. Thanks for sharing.

I saw some of this on TV.  It was so interesting watching the parents feeding the babies.  Two had hatched & they were looking for the third one any time.

Mary - - - - When you are at the Eagle picture, go to the bottom right side.  Just to the right of the volume sign is a small box.   Hover over and when blue,  click and it will enlarge to full screen.  Esc to go back to small screen (Home page).

Hope this is helpful.                      I'm glad you like.

Hope this goes through.  This is the 4th time posting!!!!!!!!!

You can go to  www.sportsmanparadiseonline.com go to the top and click live web cams and you can see hummingbird nest, owls the eagles, baby squirrels etc.  they tell dates of biths, laying eggs, hatching and gives them names. It;s a pretty cool site and kids like seeing the babies.
