I DRIVE MY 27 YR.OLD DAUGHTER TO AND FROM WORK EACH DAY. THAT IS A STORY IN IT'S SELF. ANY HOW THE PLACE WHERE SHE WORKS IS SURROUNDED BY LOTS OF WOODS.EVERYDAY WE SEE FLOCKS OF GEESE, DUCKS

WHAT A TURKEY. JUST TAKE THE PICTURE!!!!!!!!!!

I DRIVE MY 27 YR.OLD DAUGHTER TO AND FROM WORK EACH DAY. THAT IS A STORY IN IT'S SELF. ANY HOW THE PLACE WHERE SHE WORKS IS SURROUNDED BY LOTS OF WOODS.EVERYDAY WE SEE FLOCKS OF GEESE, DUCKS , DEER AND RECENTLY WILD TURKEYS'. I THAUGHT IT WOULD BE COOL TO GET A PICTURE OF THEM TO MAKE A HUMOROUS CARD FOR TURKEY DAY. I ALWAYS HAVE MY CAMERAS. I PULLED OVER AND ASKED MY DAUGHTER TO GET OUT AND TAKE A FEW SHOTS. SHE HAS A SIDE JOB AS A PHOTOGRAPER.SHE WAS ALL NERVOUS.I WAVED HER ON TO GO AHEAD. THERE WAS AT LEAST 20 IN PLANE VIEW. THEY SORT OF BLEND INTO THEIR SURROUNDINGS. SHE IS OUT TAKING SOME PICTURES. I GET OUT STAYING CLOSE TO THE CAR.I SEE SOME BIG BOYS COMING AROUND THE BACK OF MY CAR.I GUESS THEY DO NOT LIKE THE HUMOROUS TURKEY CARDS. I YELL TO MY DAUGHTER TO HURRY UP, SHE WAVES HER HAND AT " MOM I GOT A FEW GREAT SHOTS" .I YELL BACK" THAT IS ENOUGH.I DO NOT THINK THESE GUYS HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR AT ALL." SHE SEES THEM SCREAMS HER HEAD OFF, I START LAUGHING LIKE A FOOL.YES, YES.I"AM TAKING PHOTOS AS THE THREE BIG ONES CHASE HER AROUND THE CAR.SHE GETS IN THE BACK. AT THIS POINT I'AM CRYING, I'AM LAUGHING SO HARD.SHE IS ALL UPSET" THEY COULD HAVE KILLED ME". I DRIVE HER DOWN THE ROAD AS SHE GETS OUT I LOWER THE SIDE WINDOW." THANK GOD THEY ARE VEGETARIANS" I LAUGHED ALL THE WAY HOME.I HAVE SOME GREAT SHOT OF THE FEATHERED TURKEYS GOING AFTER THE HUMAN TURKEY. SHE EMAILED ME FROM WORK BEGGING ME NOT TO USE THE SHOT OF HER AND HER NEW FRIENDS AS THE CARD.I'AM STILL LAUGHING.....MADE MY DAY....SHE IS FINE,NO HARM NO FOWL....WANTED TO SHARE A LAUGH WITH ALL OF YOU.

 I never laughed so hard .Oh my God.Those photos would be great as a card.They can be mean, so becareful.Way to funny. Great story.Some day tell us the other story, Why she does not drive.....funny...

On the card you could say which one is the turkey.....I agree with Hunter so funny.I guess she was mad,she made her mom's day.What a sight.Wildlife is hard to photograph.You crack me up.This is why I check in during my break.Thanks...I needed a good laugh...

Julie, tell your daughter that where I used to live I fed all sorts of delightful critters including turkeys.  Here's a couple fuzzy photos I took through the window screen.  They were terrified of me.

WE DROVE BY THE TURKEY'S AGAIN TODAY. I LOOKED AT MY DAUGHTER. SHE GIVES ME A LOOK " DON'T EVEN ASK MOM, ONCE WAS ENOUGH" I WAS LAUGHING, ONCE WAS NOT ENOUGH FOR ME..I WAS ROUTING FOR THE TURKEY.I TOLD HER ABOUT THE PICTURES YOU POSTED NANCY, SHE JUST GASPED..I 'AM STILL LAUGHING.
