Unfortunately, there is not a Trader Joe's anywhere close to where we live (Oregon, OH).  There is such a strict code for new building here, that even if someone thought to put in a new business, they usually say "No Thanks!"  One of these days, whomever is the power-to-be might want to rethink the zoning and building specifications that are required.  I always thought a "Jungle Jim's" would be great in this area...but...no dice!  What a shame!!

I've been shopping TJ's for several years, and it's my main grocery destination. I actually got my husband to start eating their ready-made salads for lunch, instead of fast food restaurants. He lost so much weight, we had to have his suit pants taken in! LOL Their prices are very reasonable, and the food standards are excellent.

I love Trader Joe's! I don't have one here but the next town does and I go there every time I have to go to the next town for something. Our town has limited doctors and shopping places to go to. Over the past few years I have bought salads, orange juice, eggs, meringues (to die for!), bread, frozen things, sesame-honey snack sticks (they come in short little sticks), different cheese kinds, .... I guess I've shopped the store! I bought a few of their cloth bags so I don't have to pay for the plastic ones. Oh and their brand of soy milks are yummy! Of course, there are things I wish I could buy but they are out of my price range. Their fruits and veggies are a bit higher than a regular store though but make a good snack for me when I have to be in that town for things (I usually get a banana or something.)

We found the Trader Joe's on our last trip to Charleston.  I bought several different types of tea and tried a new one called White Ginger.  Really good tea.

I've only been to Trader Joe's one time.  It isn't very close to me and it was a long time ago that I went.  I remember it being a cool place to shop, but I don't remember what I bought.  I guess I'll have to go back one of these days.

I haven't been to Trader Joe's in a while since the parking lot is always crowded and I'm usually short on time.  My husband liked the Two Buck Chuck(a reasonably priced wine) but they discontinued carrying it. Usually I check out the flyer when it comes in the mail but I haven't seen an ad for the frozen mango chunks that I like from there.

Oh well, maybe one of these days I'll have some time to stop in there again.

There is a Trader Joe's in Lexington, KY.  I like to go there when we visit our children.  It's a very interesting store.

I will have to try the White Ginger Tea.  I love ginger.
This is the time of year that I begin to switch to some lighter tea.  Although I will have to check, if it is a green tea I will have to pass..have yet to try a green tea I like.  (then again this might be the one, ya never know...)

Gale, one more thing to try from TJ's is their frozen pie dough. I don't use anything else!

TJ's is my all time favorite store.  Used to have 2 near me in Illinois, but here is WI I have to wait until we have a reason to go to Milwaukee or Madison to be able to shop there.  Absolutely love their produce, canned/jarred/frozen products, and bakery.  Can't afford to buy meat there, though!
