I live in Texas in & near what is known as "tornado alley". We got slammed last Monday morning in the early hours. Lots of damaged homes, fences, barns and trees but, no fatalities. Had the sirens go off again Wed. night because of really bad weather but, no tornados.

Glad your family is ok.

Everytime I hear of tornadoes in TX my heart stops because my son lives there and has been missed several times when a tornado strikes nearby. What are the percentages of the continuation of this safe record?

Yes, we live in south eastern NC and our county had 3 tornados touch down.  Thankfully no one was seriously injured or killed here but we are praying for our neighbors to the north as they suffered great damage and loss. Innocent

I was happy to be in a safer area.  There was a tornado to the East of me.  More bad weather South of me.  But this time, all I saw was some heavy rain and not even bad wind.  I was glad to have missed it, but I feel sad for the people who did not.

I lived in Oklahoma for 7 years and we had some severe weather and lots of chances for tornados  and 6 months before I moved we had a storm(they said it wasnt a tornado but we all know how accurate weather people can be) there was alot of damage ..we were without power for 4 days and I had a 5 foot freezer full of food(didnt crack the seal on it) and after the power was back on everything in the freezer was still frozen...I moved to  Colorado that same year..

I live in Nebraska and 5 miles from the Kansas line.
We have our share of tornados. We have had them as
close as 1 mile. I have helped clearn up after them also.
It is so awsome how it can tear everything up and leave
some things unharmed right next to each other.

We don't have tornados, but we are hoping that everyone is able to recover from these disasters.  It must be very scary when one hits.

Fortunately, we did not have a tornado.  We had high winds and severe weather.

My heart goes out to all those who experienced at loss.

My area of Missouri was OK - just rain and wind.  News tonight said that 44 people were killed in this storm front that moved through several states.   And bad weather is heading in tomorrow.

When I lived in MI I saw 2 tornados and now I live in CA in the San Diego area so we get earthquakes.
I don't know which is worse. The worst earthquake that we felt was last Easter. I am praying for everyone
that are in the path of the next bad weather coming on Tuesday. Also praying for all that were involved
in the past week's tornados.
