Today(on another website) somebody made fun of a recipe because it included canned beans. Said it wasn't "home-made" then proceeded to list how she would make it. I was really tempted to ask her if she makes her own mustard and her own sweetener(she had Splenda as an ingredient). Oh well, always somebody out to spoil the party. I see nothing wrong with using some convenience foods, like canned beans or other veggies, as ingredients in something "home-made". After all, the final result is always made by someone in their "home".

H.M.I have to agree with you homemade only goes so far.Pretty much all we cook is semi homemade.Unless you have a farm and are able to produce your own foods,everything is semi home made.Even then the Good Lord had his hand in all of it.We just assemble things and pray it comes out good.
