  I was wondering if anyone else listens to talk radio? I like to listen when I'm busy around the house and sometimes when I'm on the computer playing games of solitaire or search-a-word games at

TALK RADIO?

I was wondering if anyone else listens to talk radio? I like to listen when I'm busy around the house and sometimes when I'm on the computer playing games of solitaire or search-a-word games at AARP. When I was a teen I remember listening to a late night show that was kind of like a soap opera. I would hide my little transistor radio under my pillow so I wouldn't be discovered.

It depends on the talk. I like to listen to Dave Ramsey, the money guy, on my way home from work. On the other hand, Rush L gets
immediately turned to another station.

Not me. I prefer to listen to music and half of the time I don't even hear that when I'm busy.

I used to listen to NPR on Saturdays. Loved the Car Talk Guys and a show called Wait Wait.
WCPT is good on Saturday morning there is a show called Mighty House and it is a few hours of fix-it suggestions, help and general information.
I have not been able to listen that much since January when my husband was in the hospital and Rehab I was with him most of Saturday morning so I missed all the shows.

I used to listen to WGN radio, there was a show, Kathy and Judy were the two hosts and the show was cancelled one day and I did not like most of the other show hosts so that was the last day I listened to WGN.
So most of my radio listening is a Country music station.

My husband likes to listen to talk radio. Even he gets fed up with it at times though since they seem to be switching hosts a lot lately. Sometimes they have interesting topics but most of it is nonsense as far as I'm concerned. Personally I prefer to listen to music, especially the oldies. But then I'm an oldie too lol.

here at home the alarm clock and my radio are tuned to the country legends station
i have the tv on for noise because for me info of any type is better when i actually read it
of course now i can just tivo something to go back to if i want to remember it better

I only listen to music on the radio. Mostly just when I am in the car.
My husband listens to sport games when they are not on television.

Classical music on NPR from 9 to 3 when I'm home. On Saturday there's a garden show on at 9 and a fix it show on at 10. I guess that might be classified as "talk" radio. I really enjoy the garden show and sometimes call in with a question.

Occasionally listen to radio via the TV, easy listening kind of stuff. I have been known to listen to K-Love or one of the other alternatives to regular radio. I'm not one to sit still and listen unless I'm in the car. Love music when I'm driving.

I listen to two garden shows on sunday, a computer lady that takes phone calls to help people on saturday and a talk show that is on from 10:00 PM until 2:00 AM evey night. I'm a night owl so this fits in well with times. And a legal guy that takes callers with their legal problems.

We listen to news in the morning while getting dressed and eating breakfast. The rest of the time I listen to radio only when I'm in the car driving, and then it is music. If there are too many commercials, I switch to my CD player in the car.
