And don't forget our pets! Our kitty cats make great subjects to photograph! I take photos of just about everything! Didn't have that luxury before my digital camera! I especially love "shooting" the wildlife in our backyard right behind our house.....wild turkeys, deer, squirrels, and LOTS of birds!! Butterflies also are fun to take but you have to be quick before they fly away!
Thanks, Pam, for starting such a neat Discussion! Smile

Pam E.,
I love to take photos of everything.I love taking photos of large old trees. They have such character.I also lay on the ground looking up under the trees. a different view.i even have a game we play at parties, using close up or parts of the photo, people trying to guess. it is fun.I also make them as gifts, they come out great.onde i tried to get a photo of a bird, i was on the ground, real still, finally got it. i even tried settingup the camera with a delayed action, got a few very odd shots of animals.at the beach i was taking photos of the water. This very large seagull sat right next to me.i started to take photos.,they were so cool anf funny.I swear the bird was posing.Yes after that i gave him some of my lunch.I always keep my camera with me, you never know

Mine are of sunsets & sunrises, our pets and my family. I like candid shots. My mom use to take her camera everywhere, and because of that I got use to thinking "Ma will be there, she'll get a shot of everything." Now she is gone and I always forget my camera. Good thing my phone has one!!!

Me, too, Julie! I carry my camera with me wherever I go! Strap is just long enough so I can hook it up over my shoulder if I need to or else I keep it in my pocket. It's a Kodak Easy Share so it's not real big. Bought it two years ago and I love it!! This week I've gotten some really neat photos of a skunk.....yep, you heard me right....on our front porch. He was eating out of the cat food dish. I got some shots thru the glass door, but I always get reflections doing that. So I took a chance and opened the door a crack, stuck my camera out and got a few good shots of him! It didn't even bother him.....just looked at me and then went on eating. One kitty cat though, I'm afraid, may soon smell skunky if he doesn't behave himself. He tries to play with the skunk and the skunk wants none of it!! LOL!!!

I carry my camera with me all the time too!  It is great for those moments when the kids do something you want to remember.
