With so many folks out of work or concerned Money mouthabout losing their jobs, and a great deal of people overweight & having just made a resolution to lose  weight; I don't know how these SundayBrunches will succeed!Undecided
Breakfast is our fave meal; we love breakfast breads&  pastries; yougurt & fruit; fresh brewed hot coffee / tea/ hot cocoa.
It seems fooilsh to spend$25pp+ 9%state tax & tip for a bruch out when the items we most like are so easy to prepare & serve@ home. we never eat t heroast beef; ham oomelettes @ brunch out, lesswego close o or  @ noon. orif on vacationin a hotel.
DO YOU & YOURFAMILY GO OUTTO BRUNCH?
What food items are yourusual choices?

Hi Ann,We go out for Brunch only on special occasions but I do enjoy them ! Then the rest of the day we can enjoy our time together.I tend to stick to more breakfast items unless there is something that catches my eye.I never allow myself to over eat, just not worth it.It took me some time to realize there probably will be a tomorrow and I know I will eat again. lol!

I have a sweet tooth and if I go to a brunch, I would overdo on the pastries, etc. And then give myself a super-sized guilt trip. It's not worth the anguish, or the cost. I do, however, enjoy eating a regular breakfast out, which we have been doing nearly every Saturday morning for the past few years. We have about 4 restaurants nearby that we enjoy, and most of them offer oatmeal, which I love. Or I will opt for an eggwhite omelet.

We don't always go for "Brunch"; but we do go every Saturday and Sunday morning.  On Saturday it is just the hubby and me (after my hair appointment)...Sunday it is with our "Breakfast Buddies" after Church.  There is usually 7 of us each week, and sometimes a few more join us, especially when they learn we have so much fun!  Then, there are times when we go during the week; but that is usually later in the morning, after one of us has an early Dr.'s appointment.  (Lately, that has been quite often.)

No, we don't go to brunch.  With my husband's problem, we don't go out to eat.  I cook or once in a while we have something delivered.

For me Sundays are too full/busy to eat out very often.  The youth minister and his wife take me for lunch at the Chinese restaurant when each of us can spare the time.

Not often! It just so happens that we went to the 94th Aero Squadron which
is next to an airport so you can see planes land and take off. The restaurant
is a big old french house with many rooms and the music is songs from the
World War II era. The brunch is $25.00 a person and we had a $50.00 gift
certificate from hubby's daughter. It was awesome. Normally we don't go
out for breakfast. We have another $100.00 to Karl Strauss Brewery and
Restaurant from hubby's son. We have gone there several times. It is
German and hubby loves all the different sausages and German food that
they have. He also loves their beer. lol lol It will take 2 times to use that
gift certificate up. Hate to think of the calories! Yikes!! Will be working in
the yard Mon. and Tues. to work it off.

We rarely go out for breakfast or brunch.  I think the only time would be when we are on vacation.

Once in a while we will go to a place like Old Country Buffet or Golden Corral for a Sunday Breakfast. That is pretty much my meal for the day then. We do not go often..can't afford the calories.
Many places that have a Brunch Menu seem to have regular menu items and I don't see the difference between the brunch and the regular breakfast menu.
There is a place near me that does have a Brunch and I have been once.  Very good, outstanding for that matter but the expense is a bit much.   I think I would rather spend the same and go for a Buffet Lunch or Dinner.

I like to go, but hate to spend so much money.  So I don't do it very often.

Years ago we used to dress up and go out for brunch(usually with my late mother-in-law) and it was fun for the kids.   I just can't justify the cost now since the kids are gone and my husband and I don't eat all that much for brunch anymore.  Would rather stay home and eat healthier these days.  Besides, it gives me a chance to make french toast once in a while lol.
