How do I use a spring form pan? I may need book bake wear for dummies because I have tried everything.

King Arthur Flour has several kinds of spring form pans but none with the center tube.

Nancy I had never seen one with the tube pan bottom either until I found this one at our discount store "Marc's" they are only here in Ohio.They always get in lots of merchandise other stores have failed to sell.I almost didn't buy it and I'm so glad I did.I .Well this is one that I won't be kicking myself over :) Here is a link to show what I'm talking about.I've seen them on the internet in square and even heart shaped . Thanks Gale ...... $24.00 isn't too horrible  but the S&H will make the total price too much.
Especially since I've never used a spring form of any style - lol

Nancy I rarely order anything by mail.The few times that I have I've been disappointed.I like to see and hold the item in my hand.Just hang in there one will show up somewhere.It's funny every time. I think of something I would like to have it appears a short time later.I don't know "Luck" or is it God answering yet another prayer.It is also affordable to me.I had been wanting a Pizzelle maker, a short time later there it was at Goodwill,new in the box for $5,with all the instructions.That was a huge savings over one purchased at a department store.

I buy at least 50% of my stuff by mail and lots by ebay.
So I went searching for springform pans and found dozens with the center tube.    Not one had the price + S&H that suited me.

I just used my spring form pan to bake a fruit cake it is a recipe for 2- 9 inch loaf pans,I'm lazy and my hands even lazier so I but the entire recipe into my 9" spring form that I greased and floured,baking time the same.I always bake 2 of everything here because my guys love their bakery .The pan came away from the cake no problems.:) I forgot to say that I used the tube cake bottom,new favorite thing in my kitchen.
