I've got a few more small items, but a lot of sewing and baking to finish up.  Just like everyone else, can't start baking too early, or else there's none left.  :)

I'll be giving my goodies on Sunday night - the 19th.
I hope to be able to get out of this house (tomorrow) Friday -- too much ice to leave the driveway today --
to take stuff to my breakfast buddies.
Which reminds me .... I need to stop chatting and get to work  :-)

I hope I'm finished Christmas shopping, unless I just come across a great item by luck.  Of course, I seem to be at the grocery at least once or twice a day getting supplies for this holiday time.

There are still post holiday shopping and sales to take into consideration.  I have two sets of shopping bags - birthdays and Christmas labeled with family member names.  When I come across an appropriate present for someone I purchase it and put in the person's bag in a closet ready for the special occasion.

Great time to shop now.  Gift bags and wrapping paper.  Tissue paper is a great one to get now use it all year for all sorts of things, craft projects as well.
Many stores clearance out "seasonal" items that I use year round.  Things like pumpkin puree, cranberry sauce, spices are sometimes cleared out.  And I have even found some chocolate chips marked down.  And don't forget candy that can be used in baking as well. The Kiss candy, peanut butter cups, Almond Roca is one I look for, I like using that on shortbread or mixed in to cookie dough.

I love a candy kiss pushed into just about any cookie the minute it comes from the oven.  A peanut butter cup works too.  hmmmmm so does a Rolo.  lol lol lol

I try to shop all year round for Christmas and birthdays.  Each family has a shopping bag with their name on it - one bag for each for Christmas and one for birthday.  Then if I see something suitable or on sale I purchase it, and put it in the suitable bag.
