Any of you go to the "gray Thursday" shopping stuff that starts Thanksgiving evening or midnight?  I can't imagine needing anything so bad I'd go shopping in the middle of the night.  I hate

barbara,
i always give barnes and noble

because as an avid reader         i want them to still enjoy holding that book and reading
or reading aloud to their children     and even tho i know that they can get other products there , mostly they get books

My sister who lives in CA went out on Black Friday, found some jewelry she couldn't live without (huge bargain) and stood in line for an hour and a half at the check out.  I told her she was nuts.

I've never felt inclined to do gray or black shopping spree!  It really turns me off when I see on the news the way some folks behave.

I went out with my daughter on Thursday night only to keep her company.  We did stop at the WalMart close to my house and it was packed.  The store had some aisles roped off so that traffic could only go one way.  After hearing people yelling and screaming over $5 dvds, we got out of there really quick(nobody was in the checkout lanes yet lol).  Target was a little more sane, but also crowded especially in the electronics section.

Although I didn't buy much in the stores we went to, it gave me time to spend with my daughter and I got her to pick out what she wanted for Christmas.  That's pretty much the only reason I did this insane thing lol.
