I saw something this morning that made me laugh.  I was driving to work & saw a school bus ahead.  As I came up to it, I could see a sign on the back.  Are you ready?  It said "Student Driver"!  I was laughing out loud.  Was it a "trainee"?  Or a play on words for a school bus driver?

That is funny.  I can't imagine having a job like that. I gather the turn over in that job is pretty high.  Great pay though. Think it is close to $15.00 per hour around me.

By the way a bit of info for anyone that knows someone that is learning to drive..a car not a bus.  I have read that it is not good to put a sign that says "Student Driver" or "New Driver" on the back of the car.  People (scam artists) look for such signs and will cut in front of such a driver and then slam on the brakes so the new driver rear ends the car. Or they will bump the car from the side or in some way cause an accident.  The new driver gets flustered and possibly admits fault.

Thankfully most people are honest and you just have to watch for the few.  At least that is what I chose to believe. (the Pollyanna in me coming out yet again)

I don't think $15 per hour is near enough to drive a bus.  I don't even like big cars.  Plus all those kids to worry about too!  And it can't be very many hours, can it?  Don't forget, you would be "working" in the mornings and the afternoons.  Not my idea of a good job for any amount.

My niece and my brother in law both drive buses and both of them love it. I'll pass though. Just the kids and grandkids gave me the jitters when I was driving.

I have known people that loved driving the bus.  And I am glad they do!  Someone needs to.  Just not me! LOL
