At the moment, I am reading "The Haven" by Suzanne Woods Fisher.  I enjoy reading all "Amish" books.  In fact, they make up most of the 532 books that I have read to date.  I reserve books from the Library which lets me read "more for less".  The only time I buy a book is when an author comes to town and has a signing.  Those I keep.

I have just started reading "The Struggle" by Wanda Brunstetter.   It's also an Amish story, and I hope it is as good as the last one I read of her Kentucky Brothers Series.  After I am done with this book, I'll switch over to Debbie Macomber's latest, "The Inn at Rose Harbor".  That one looks great...I peaked at a few pages.

after i finished those two books            i re-read a couple of series by lorraine heath and one series by linda lael miller

since yesterday was my b.d.         while i was at walmart    i picked up eloisa james  newest   the ugly duchess

and since they had all 3 i picked up sherryl woods   sweet magnolia series
i haven't read a lot of her books     but i need to change up every now and then

when i open a new book            i break the spine every 25 pgs  so that it will lay flat             and  so they are considered damaged  and book swap places will not accept them

the ones i don't keep  i take to my sister who is nursing director in a nursing home            and they find a welcome home

I just finished The Rescue by N. Sparks.  Very good as usual.

Starting on The Choice also by Sparks.
Nice summer reading..a few tissues by my side and off I go.

I just picked up a few others at a garage sale, can't beat  $ .50 a book.  I can read them then donate to the resale shop.  Just love the ultimate in recycling!!

I read a Stephen King book while on vacation.  some I like, some are too weird.  This one was ok.  Now I'm reading a Dick Francis book of short stories.  He is a British writer and I love the "Britishisms" that are included in his writings.

Am reading Katie a book about a blonde cocker spaniel by Glenn Plaskin.  This little dog makes a family of several neighbors living in a high rise apartment in New YorK..  Great read so far.

The only thing I've been reading lately is manuals.  Two weeks ago it was a TV manual, last week the furnace manual, this week the converter box manual lol.  Oh well, can't expect an 85 year old to do it lol.
