New to this baking site and I can't find information that tells me what the "Brownie Points" are for. Can anyone direct me to that information? Thanks in advance.

They are not worth anything.  I checked with an online person and they said that they start over at the new year.

Rumor has it, eventually you will be able to use them to "purchase" items, ie. gadgets, aprons, etc. - hopefully we'll see soon.......

Thanks for the info. Seems strange they would bother to do something like that when it actually means nothing....*G*

I  think we should just forget the points ... get new recipes (cookies, please) and have fun.

Wish we knew something new about the brownie points.  Alas, VBB hasn't decided yet.

Nancy, just for you, another cookie recipe lol.

                          Tis the Season Coconut Macaroons

1-14 oz package coconut
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tsps vanilla extract
1 cup holiday morsels or M&Ms

Mix all together, drop by tablespoon on parchment paper.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges.

Store loosely covered at room temperature.   Makes 3 dozen.

These are so yummy!

I love the colored morsels in cookies!  They look so festive year round.  Great recipe to try. Laughing

Back on the old site, at the end of the year if you had amassed a certain number of points you were in a drawing for some sort of prize.

You are all very welcome.  Coconut is one of my favorites also, right up there with chocolate lol.

I've been going through all of my handwritten cookie recipes, trying to get some sort of order.  Soon, I hope, I will be able to post more recipes.

H.M.: Thank you for the recipe.  Sound delicious.

As far as the points, it is hard to get points when you are locked out for two months at a time.  Had that happen twice so far this year.  Out other times, too, but not that long---only a short time then.

The company on this site is great, though, and that makes up for it.  Glad you are all here!!!!!
