I bought several cans of evap.milk this weekend, a few #s of almonds, cherry pie filling, flour & sugar; next  weekend I will buy the turkey, yams & morsels.  Sure would be nice if we were able to print coupons for Libby Pumpkin.  I try to stock up on sale items each week because we are on a fixed income.

I was able to buy Libby's pumpkin at Walgreens for 99 cents a can so I got the limit of 3.  I have learned to keep canned pumpkin on hand all year as sometimes in the summer I want  to make muffins or something with pumpkin.

Hi Carol nice to see you back.Wow your prices are way better there than here. Our discount store has the large cans 2/$5 and our chain store has the small cans for $2.99 each.I'm finishing my shopping on tuesday and I'm buying the large cans 2/$5 I'll put those away for later I roasted a couple pumpkins and have that frozen and I'm using those first to free up some freezer space.

Gale,  Thank you. I'm glad to be back. I just wish I could get on during the
day!  I couldn't get on until 9p.m., CA time!! I haven't seen any pumpkin
in any of our discount stores, I'm glad that Walmart is helping us out.

Living on a fixed income is getting more difficult with each day. When shopping I start conversations with other shopper who obviously are in the same boat. Who would have thought that chicken, which years ago was 29 cents a pound on sale is now $2.99 or more a pound.

Gee, one would think that a site with Nestle coupons on it would have more coupons for their products. Heck, they could have a generic coupon that is good on ANY Nestle product.
Our 45 anniv. is Wed. & the pumpkin pie filling will not be Libby's(this is the first time EVER that I have bought another brand). I always bake the pies Wed. night & use the recipe that was on the Libby's can (I wrote it in a notebook before I got married) because it was the one my mom & aunts used. I really do not remember seeing another brand of pumpkin back then. I decided that 100% pure pumpkin is the same no matter the name, so I went with the cheaper one.  This is the time of year that I stock up on it for use other than the pies & with the price of nuts, flour, sugar, butter/oleo, shortening etc. every penny counts.

I got my pumpkin at Hy_Vee.  Their brand was only 69¢.  I did have a coupon for Libby's which I used also.  it was for a free can that I've had for years, waiting for a good time to use it.  I got the big can FREE.
