I'm trying to quickly go through the postings on this site; there are so many. I'm trying to post in reply to what I am able to read. If there is anyone I have not responded to that needs prayers and I have missed, I will pray for all my friends on VBB who need prayers for themselves, their family and their friends. If I have missed you and your prayers were answered, I am so happy for you and I will do the same in thanking God for you, your family and friends for his help. God bless.

Oh Thanks Marie,I'm glad to see you back! Marie please take time for yourself amd take care of yourself also.I was a care giver to my Mom for twelve years and complete care giver her last year.I averaged 3 hrs of sleep per night that last year with no outside help.My husband also drew her lab work and I ran it over to her Dr.'s lab.I was a wreck,then I got sick 10 months after she passed away.Please take time for yourself.God Bless you both! You both are in my thoughts and prayers.

MaryB, have you contacted your utility companies to see if there is help available for paying them? Also, there are drug cards available thru some charities that pay for all or part of the out of pocket costs of your meds. Another thing is the phone. My mom is on SSI and she qualified for a cell phone with limited minutes each month at no cost. She has to carry a step by step instruction sheet with it but, at least she has it if needed.

Contact your pharmacy & doctors regarding help w/meds. I wish and pray for the best for you. And for your grandson.

As you all are aware, a few months ago I had to get some tests done and they came back abnormal with a finding (lump/mass). Well, last week this lump/mass made itself noticeable and I went to see my family doctor. She sent me to see a surgeon specialist who took several biopsies. I just got my results back and THANKS BE TO GOD, I had benign fibers with numerous cysts, no Cancer. I go see the surgeon specialist tomorrow for follow up and see what if any must be done in the months to come.

So I would like to thank my many friends here on VBB for all the thoughts and prayers. Like I said many many times, prayer is powerful and again, Thank you God!!

Thank you for your sweet, kinds words...they mean so much.

I saw the surgeon specialist on Thurs. and the pathology report did reveal some problems. I must get more tests taken in a few months and I must discuss the next steps with my family doctor.

Prayers for all those in need and that all my VBB friends are safe and healthy!

Well .... I need some prayers too. I've been waiting for this morning's appointment with dermatologist for almost 6 weeks now. Since Nov/early Dec I've bee .. Oh well, This morning a funny little zit was removed from the tip of my nose. Dr said it was either Basal skin cancer or pre-cancer. He removed a BIG hunk to be sent off for (I've lost the word) checking. I go back next Monday morning to hear and maybe be sent to surgeon for more removal. There's just two stitches on the end of my nose but it sure looks awful. rats rats rats Please pray for me too

Nancy: How are you doing? I'm taking my husband back to the dermatologist on Tuesday. The last time he was there three weeks ago she froze two precancerous growths on his forehead and she will check them on Tuesday. She also found a benign growth on the top of his head which she will also remove that day. We found another growth on his back yesterday. He also still has the hives from the shots I was giving him for he MS.

My husband has the Shingles. They are getting better though. He is 57yrs old. Last Sunday he asked me to look at his left side & asked me what I thought was on it. I saw a patch of blisters & I told him that I thought that he had the Shingles. Then I looked it up on line to see if I was right & the description was what I thought it was. So I told him that he needed to go to the ER. So we went to ER & the doctor said that he indeed has the Shingles. So I said for him to stay away from me LOL, because they are contagious. If no one knows what Shingles they are another form of Chicken Pox, but they come out as Shingles in people in their 50's & up. You had to have the Chicken Pox as a child in order to get the Shingles in your later years.

4:45 - in 15 minutes I'm heading out to the dermatologist in the city ~shudder~ to have thing on my nose removed. I'm not afraid of that but, gee whiz, I'm scared of driving that far in that sort of traffic. I hope I get home safely for the cats.
My lunch and a snack are packed, I have the Bible packed, a paperback, and lots of Diet Pepsi.
Please pray for me.

Good morning. Just asking for a quick prayer for my husband; he is having an MRI of his brain this morning to see whether there is a physical cause for the strange behavior he has been exhibiting, especially in the evening. ("Sundowning", they call it.) Meanwhile, I will be adding all of my friends here to my morning prayers!
