I have noticed among many of the posting that there are VBB members that have faith in God.  I thought it would be nice to start a Prayer List or Prayer Chain.  So, if you or a loved one is

I just had to comment on all the positive responses that I have received on this Prayer List...it is just wonder!  I am so glad that so many VBB members are receptive to the idea.  

Prayers are powerful and comforting.  I always liked the prayer our Minister would say at the end of the service and I would like to share it with all of you...May the Lord watch between me and thee while we're absent one from the other.

Thank you, Susan - and HM - for your kind words.  He was, indeed, blessed - I saw the car yesterday when we went to unload all the things he had in the back.  One interesting thing - his new glasses make him look about ten years younger!

Hi Erica, I'm so sorry that your husband was in that accident but thank God he is OK,it could have been so much worse.He will heal from bumps and bruises.It scares you when you hear news like this.God bless the both of you!

When we were married I bought a Mizpah coin which is split in half and it has that saying on it.May the Lord watch between me and thee while we're absent from one another.It takes the two pieces together to be able to read it.I gave half to my husband of almost 32 years and I adore him as much if not more than when we met.Susan thank you for the memories.God bless and I hope you heal quickly.

Marie- tell your son to go to Family Court-he does not need a lawyer.  Explain to the judge what is going on.  Somebody should be able to help him.

That is so neat!  I love hearing romantic stories or memories...touches the heart! 

On April 27th, my husband and I will be celebrating our 20th Anniversay.

I would like to add my cousin Kathy to  our prayer list,she was diagnosed with cervix cancer she just finished her chemo and radiation treatments.She will see her Doctor in early April and we are hoping and praying for a remission.Her sister is taking her to the big hotel where the movie Some Where In Time was filmed.Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve were the main characters.She has always loved that movie.We are hoping it will be a celebration for her.Thank you.

GaleG, you have them for your cousin. We attended a memorial yesterday for my SILs mom who lost her battle with cancer. It was hard on our shared grandkids. How do you explain to a 9 yr old that his heroine won't be there anymore?

Hi WA-HA K,It is very difficult to explain to a child about death.When my Mom and Mother in law passed my boys were young.I explained to them that Grandma had to go because God needed them in heaven to do Grandma things and someday they would see her again and we would all be together when it was our time to go.Let him know she sees what he does and to do things right and to make her proud.That's all my boys needed and as they asked questions I would answer to the best of my ability without too much just enough to satisfied their questions.I didn't want to give them anymore than they could understand.Thank you for your prayers WA-HA.How are you doing ? I keep you in my thoughts and prayers.God Bless.

I hope it will be a celebration for her,  Somewhere in Time is one of my favorite movies, and Mackinaw Island is beautiful.  I am sure she will love it there!

Prayers will be said for God's healing, that she can celebrate and rejoice that she is in remission.  That would be just wonderful!!

Gale, I will be praying for your cousin Kathy! When is she going to Mackinac Island? Is she
going to stay at the Grand Hotel? The Grand is awesome!!! I never got to stay there(expensive)
but I held one of my Boy Scout meetings in one of their meeting rooms. Their flowers there are
awesome too! My last job in MI was working for the Boy Scouts. Make sure your cousin goes
to the downtown area to the many fudge shops.
