I have noticed among many of the posting that there are VBB members that have faith in God.  I thought it would be nice to start a Prayer List or Prayer Chain.  So, if you or a loved one is

In Response to Re: PRAYER LIST/CHAIN : No the girls are on medical assistants. I don't even know who the doctor is that she takes the girls to. She even gets Food Stamps & told him that she would share them with him when he has the girls, but then she didn't do that either. I just don't get why she is so mean to him like that. She's the one that cheated on him not the other way around.

Kathy, if they are on assistance they must have a caseworker that could help out.
Reading this about little children breaks my heart.  Any medical provider, a teacher, or anyone that is in a position like that is usually a 'Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse"  this is scary term but the mom by not allowing the dad to provide the children with proper medical care is endangering the children and could be reported for neglect. I don't know if this is a route you would want to take.
My heart goes out to you and your grandchildren.  They need all the love and support and stability you can give.

Preston...I asked this in another forum..not sure if you would see it there or not. But..
How are you doing?  Surgery scheduled yet?  And last but not least how's the "Lady Doctor"? By the way can we have at least a first initial so we/I don't have to call her "The Lady Doctor".

My sister has Stage 4 cancer that has spread to the bone.  It's the same kind that Farrah Fawcett had and very rare in women. Please pray for her and her family as she struggles to survive. Thank you.

Please pray for my husband, Frank.  He has MS and hives.  The shots I was giving him for the MS caused him to break out in very very itchy hives.  He has had the hives for ll months now.  The dermatologist said it takes that long or longer for the medication to get out of his system.  He's been given topical ointments, which don't really help, but they say there is nothing they can give him.  He has been to several doctors. Thank you for your prayers and God bless all of you.  I will pray for all of those in need.

In Response to Re: PRAYER LIST/CHAIN : Hi Susan,Nikki,Carol P.and MarieF. Thanks so much for your concern and prayers. How are you Susan? I'm getting bits and pieces, you had complications after the colonoscopy?I was scheduled for the stent placement on Tuesday and because of some emergencies, I was cancelled until Wednesday, which was no problem I spent the night at the hospital and was first case in the morning. This is something that happens with me more times than not. They were unable to do the stents due to calcification in the neck and in the brain, they had to be extremely careful not to dislodge any matter that could cause me another heart attack or stroke. Now I'm going to have a carotid endarterectomy, they have to operate to do this. There is a possibility of stroke or heart attack with this also.I will have this done under local anesthesia to minimize the risks.I know I will be fine.Susan please let me know what is going on with you,you are in my thoughts and prayers.I was thinking of you when I was having my procedure done hoping and praying you were having better luck than I.Nikki,Carol and Marie,I pray for you everyday so you can handles life's problems,I know we all have them.Where is Nancy? I'm worried about her.She was so worried about this horrible weather and I know she hasn't been feeling too well herself.I pray that our Lord looks after her and keeps her safe.I pray for everyone here at VBB,that we all are all blessed. My poor little Rocky needed to go to rest on Friday.I had my husband and son take him to our local pound to be put down, just where I had adopted him fifteen years earlier, the proceeds go to help other cats and dogs in need. I can feel good about something ,it's knowing that Rocky's passing will benefit others just like him.God bless all my friends at VBB.

Gale...

I am soo very sorry to hear your news about the surgery!  I am sure you were very disappointed and discouraged when you found all this out.  This procedure will be a success, because you are such a positive person and you know that the Lord is with you..all the way and he also keeping an eye on those sugerons too!

Do you have a date for the next procedure?  Know in your heart that you have many friends on VBB that will be thinking of you and saying prayers.  On the way home from having the Colonoscopy, I said to my husband, I wonder how Gale from VBB is doing.  You were in my thoughts and prayers continually!!  Please keep me updated!!

Hi Susan How are you feeling ? I hope that everything is going better for you. I always tell my husband about you and the others here On VBB.I feel that you are all my friends and I do enjoy visiting with you everyday.I waited and waited on Tuesday my case was supposed to be done at 2pm and the hours kept on going by.The case before mine didn't get started until 6pm.My doctor came to tell me there had been an emergency, and he had his surgical garb on and a lead apron on with a width piece of masking tape on it with the name Kathy on it,so asked him if that was his new name,he cracked up laughing and so did we.He is so down to earth how could anyone ever be angry with him.

There can never be too many prayers. My nephew, Dennis, is in the hospital as we speak. He has been fighting 4th stage colon cancer for almost a year. He is now in ICU after having a colostomy and is fighting a serious infection that he picked up in the hospital, I think it is called C-dep and is extremely contagious. My niece is the only one allowed to visit since you have to wash, gown, mask before entering his room. Thank you all, and God Bless.

Hi Angela, I will pray for your Nephew Dennis and family and also you Angela. He has C-Diff and it is highly contagious.I can't stress enough to anyone visiting in the hospital, nursing home, doctors office, even the grocery store carry hand sanitizer with you and wash your hands very well.I had an infection I picked up two years ago called MRSA while in the hospital and they had to put a PICC  line into my heart and I was on IV antibiotics for a whole month at home.God Bless you.Stay well.

Hi Gale...

I am feeling a little better...not much!  I was rushed to ER Thurs. afternoon and had lab work, x-rays and a Cat Scan done.  The doctor told me that I will not start feeling better until about Wed.  That is how bad my whole digestive system was messed up from the Colonoscopy...I was in pure agony!!  He also told me to have complete bed rest and I am on pain medicine along with medicine to keep my Colon and intestines from having spasms, that is why the soft bland diet.  Then he told me that starting Thursday to introduce more solid foods but at a gradual pace.  I lost 10 pounds in the past week, I hardly can eat!  I haven't heard anything about the biopsy but they told me if I don't hear anything from them by Tuesday, I am to call in and talk to the doctor.  I pray everything is okay, I don't need another abnormal test result!!

Please let me know when you go in for your procedure?  That is great that you have a doctor like that, I am starting to loose faith in mine with what has been going on the past 2 weeks.  Always know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!  Jinx sends a hug to you!

Take care!

In Response to Re: PRAYER LIST/CHAIN : Marie, I will pray for your husband, Frank.  I had 2 sisters who had MS. My sister Sharon had the chronic progressive and she died at 52. My other sister isn't as bad. She gets a shot everyother day! She is always tired and naps a lot. It has affected her eyes, but she is still driving!!! There is only a 4 percent chance that you can have 2 in a family. We have been in several medical studies to try to find out a cause for MS. I sure wish they would find a cure!!! I know you are really dealing with a lot of stress and I will pray for you too!!!!

Carol P.:  Thank you for the prayers.  Sorry to hear about your sisters.  I was giving my husband shots every day and then he broke out in hives from the shots.  Has had the hives for almost a year.  Very bad.  He's always itchy.  They gave him a topical ointment (several different kinds) but nothing helps.  Said it just has to eventually get out of his system.  He doesn't drive or go anywhere except to the doctor's or for various tests.  Prior to this we were very active in our Church and we had done Pre-Cana for over 25 years, in addition to being Eucharistic Ministers and I was a Lector.  I, too, wish they would find a cure!!!

Thoughts and prayers for John today.  He is having back surgery.

I wonder about Nancy,  About a year or more ago I was posting quite a bit on two other sites, Betty Crocker and Pillsbury and one day for some reason I could not post, I tried changing password, contacting them, nothing worked.  I was not able to post anything.  I wonder if some computer glitch like that happened to Nancy. I hope not.

Susan and Gale I do hope you are both feeling well today.

Hi Susan,I hope you start feeling better soon.If you feel this way about your Dr. there is no sin looking for another, believe me I have in the past. When I got sick fourteen years ago my digestive tract stopped working.I could not keep anything down for six months.I lost so much weight that my Dr. told me to gain weight,I said would you please repeat that. LOL I said are you sure you are alright? Try to relax Susan, they will come up with something. The medication that helped me at that time was banned by the FDA.My Dr. told me if I needed it he would write me a script and sent me North.Luckily something else worked for me.Susan you are also in my thoughts and prayers,I fell so sorry that you have to go through such agony,it's painful and upsetting.I used to soak in a warm tub and that seemed to give me some relief along with my meds. Please let me know how you are and I will continue praying.Romeo sends you a big hug also.God bless and take care.
