Any minute I'm heading out to church to paint some more, then a counseling session at Domestic Abuse, then home. I plan to stir up two batches of cookies, put the dough in the 'fridge then CLEAN

Any minute I'm heading out to church to paint some more, then a counseling session at Domestic Abuse, then home.
I plan to stir up two batches of cookies, put the dough in the 'fridge then CLEAN.

Sadly, I must go to the DMV to renew my driver's license. Not my favorite place but I will survive. This afternoon we are having a load of lumber delivered so I will have to be "traffic" director for the folks from Lowe's. I'll tell you what, that's about as much excitement for one day that a girl can handle!!! LOL

Ater finishing some things on my laptop I'm heading for the Wellness Center to do 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer and then two circuits of weights. My reward for working out is a senior black coffee from MacDonalds - great coffee - no calories. Then on to the bank and oter errands. Have some chores at home too.

My day to volunteer at the local hospital. I work in transportation - pushing wheelchairs. Even at my age, this is good exercise and I get to meet some very nice people. After that, home for dinner with hubby and some relaxation.

Hi Nancy,
Sounds like you have a great day planned.It's fun to read about other people how they spend their day.I'm getting things arranged for a very long few months.I wrote tons of letters,talking to people. I will be unable to be around for at least a month maybe longer.It is a health issue.I wanted to put it off, but my body has other ideas.
I think I will bake a batch of cookies.That relaxes me as well. Will meet my friend for lunch,I need to tell him I won't be able to meet him for awhile. One of my friends will meet him,so he will be fine..Wish me luck..I will miss you all. Happy spring to all.

I'm enjoying a cup of coffee..then my day begins..house cleaning ..lunch..figure out something for dinner and then off to my daughters house so I can take care of my grandkids til thier dad gets home...come home ..throw dinner together(usually quick and easy dinner) clean up and watch my favorite tv program

Julie, I hope you keep us posted. Sorry to hear that you will "be out of commission" for a while. I do hope it is nothing serious, that sounds so stupid, obviously it is serious but I hope you know what I mean.

Nancy, do you also volunteer at a shelter for abuse? That has to be very difficult. It has to take a great deal of strength to do that.

There's such a clinic in most areas. Did you know that? I didn't.
I love them.

Nancy, what a wonderful way to respond - I admire your strength! We have a wonderful center here in Oshkosh. My theater company has done some benefit performances to help them out. Bless you and have a great day today!

You have just confirmed to me what I suspected...You are a very strong woman!
I am going to do some volunteer work, will have to give up my 2 day a week "job" because I don't think I can leave my husband home alone for 3 to 6 hours. If things go as I hope and pray they do we will move closer to our daughter and I will be able to volunteer at my grandson's school. It is either that or at the food pantry, they just put up a sign they need help one day a week but it is a 4 hour commitment. I will have to see how that goes. You never know from day to day.
