Peaches and Badcat are always in the same room as I am ...... Peaches is sprawled over my left arm when I'm on the computer and between my legs when I sleep.  Badcat is not so needy for contact but he sure wants lots of it.
Both of them have to be in the bathroom when I shower and 'dig' hard on the shower doors ........ boy, are they destructive.
In a minute I'll be heading down the stairs to the basement to work down there but both of them will thunder ahead of me.
Yes, they are always vying for my attention.

Romeo and Juliet follow me from room to room,when I'm making our almost everyday salad they come for carrots.When I'm in my recliner I have one on each side of me.Romeo always puts his front paws on my leg and gets in my face if I'm on the computer for any lenghth of time.Juliet is pretty much the same always wanting treats and attention,bringing me their old sock to play fetch.They are a great source of happiness to my hubby and I.

I always seem to have a couple of them following me. There is a cat in every room.
If I'm on the computer too long, I get smacked in the behind by Speedi (avatar) and
he is winding thru my legs and around my chair. Binky(black cat) is the one who
always lays across my left arm when on the computer. When sitting on the couch,
Speedi is on my right side and Bean on the left, and usually one behind my head.
We have an average of 3 on the bed when we sleep. Lucky we have a king size
bed.  lol lol

Our 4 cats play musical laps every night, and I almost always have one dog lying on my feet at the same time - which is fine during winter, but gets a little toasty in the summer!  The other dog is usually pressed up between the two arm chairs hoping to get petted from both sides at once. I'd have to say the answer is yes!

lol lol --- Carol, it's so funny that you have one across your left arm too.  Peaches is so annoyed when I try to get out of the chair.......... she goes stiff and refuses to move.  A stiff cat - lol

I have one cat.  His name is Toby and he is always following me around the house.  He goes from room to room with me and if I sit down, he is in my lap.

GRANA  here;
Maestro& Cali, pretty much entetain themselves for the  most part. As long as they have food & water set out, we don't have to do much for them...they play together; sleep together; til hubby is on the cuch, reading /his feet up.Then one or both  claim a space.
When I move to my reciner w/ feet up; I too am overtaken. When it's grooming time, just pick up the nearby  brush & get it done( while they're handy...If/ when WE  want o play; we call  &  they show up;  ready to accomodate us
Maestro needs conversation & praise throughout the day; Cali prefers to be  ignored.

When I'm in hekitchen cooking( befretheirmeltim,I'm  pesterd w/knee tapping;hubby gets kiitty rubbed w/enough force to nearly  lose his balance.

My cat, Holly, loves to sit on your lap while you are watching tv or reading.  The funny thing is when we shut the tv off she hops
down from your lap.  It's as if it is a signal.  She sure winds around our feet at feeding time.

GRANA here;
 BothCali  & Maestro are" typical" cats; prefer to be left alone except for times oft their choosing:
mealtime
 cold indoor temps
OR feeling lonely or poorly.
Then they seek out one of us to fill their needs.
Maestro still comes  when called to allow cuddling, nice kitty [ talk & peting &  for  grooming. Both come for treats.They also both come @ 0600 hrs to wake us up for breakfast.
.Wink.
We do not mind " being " used" this way; they are so sweet & loveable when they want  something we  agree it's one of the  reasons we love them both so much!Smile They are aware when we are in need of attention & willingly &  lovingly provide it.Kiss.
as long as they & us are content, they pretty much keep to  themselves & entertain each other  & us for hours.Cool

Beautiful picture of Speedy, and elegant and regal lady! I'll bet she is just a love to have as are the others.

Don't you just love the devotion? I always love it when our cats do that. People think that cats are aloof. Way to go Toby!!!

Grana,
It sounds as if we know who is in charge in your house...Maestro and Cali. But I can tell how much you love and enjoy them.

I talk often about my two little dogs,Romeo and Juliet.I've had several cats during my life time and cats are highly intelligent.When Ditto was outside and the front door was closed,he would climb up on the screen door and peer into the house through the windows on the door and cry to come in, that is really creepy at night to see these shiny eyes looking in at you. lol.The boy that lives next to us has learning disabilities,but a real sweet child.My cat Ditto loved this child he would get up on their roof and look through the window into his bedroom.His speech is impaired, he simply called Ditto "D",they got him a cat and named her DEE.Ditto was the first animal that didn't frighten this boy.I truly believe that Ditto knew this child had disabilities and was extra sweet and gentle with him.Everyone on our street miss that little cat,he sadly pasted away 2 years ago @ the age of fifteen.Our boys have always played with our cats and dogs more than with any toy they've had.Animals enrich all of our lives,I couldn't imagine mine without them.

Angela,I'm so happy that you have opened your heart and home to two of God's creatures.It's hard to lose a treasured pet,these two are not here to replace but to comfort and bring you happiness .I think they have done just that.I also lost three of my pets in one year,Kelly,Rocky and Ditto.We went out and found Romeo and Juliet to share our love and home with.I'm so happy we did !
