Badcat and Peaches assume they OWN the table.

And this little condo has two tiny, very tiny bathrooms ....... Peaches follows me into one and is on my lap within seconds....
that's HER spot and she ain't giving up. ;-)
If I go into the other Badcat is immediately in the sink ... he collapses in the sink and uses the faucet to pet himself purring so loud I laugh out loud.

I love my animals, 3 dogs and 1 cat.  Our corgi, Dudley, is a therapy dog and loves to visit.

I promise that the next time he's there - I'll get a photo.  Well, I'll try .... he hits that spot when .. er .. I'm in the bathroom on purpose.

Hi Mary Lou .... thanks for the wonderful photos.    My favorite is  #3 - where the doberman and the cat are happily together. Your house must be a fun place to live.

Mornings tend to be crazy when everyone first gets up.  Our youngest, the Doberman will be 8 months old this Saturday and already weighs in at 90lbs.  The cat in the picture you like is our oldest, he is on his third Doberman.  One of our Siamese (rescues) really loves his puppy.  The only time he purrs is when he is playing with the dog.
Right now our snow is deeper than Murphy's legs are long, but he still loves going out to play catch with his frisbee.

Our cocker mix Peaches keeps our day busy and filled with love.  She can be a character.  She doesn"t like to listen all the time.  Other times she can be as good as gold.

Peaches (above) had a good running work out yesterday at our weekend condo.  She raced like the wind.  This morning we are back home and it's raining.  Peaches is curled up sleeping.

I only have one cat now.  Slasher is a small tabby.  She is actually my husband's cat.  He brought her inside when she was a sick kitten.  The woman across the street had dozens of cats that she was feeding.  But she claimed they were not hers.  So of course they were not very well cared for.  After she moved, the animal control people had to come and collect a lot of them.  I don't believe she took any with her.  Nor did she really care what happened to them.  I wish I could have taken some in.  But at that time we had 3 cats - plus the one new kitten.  All of my kitties are waiting for me in heaven now.  They lived long happy lives.

I have one cat.  His name is Toby.  He is mostly white with a few orange spots on his head, ears and tail.  We adopted him from our local animal shelter when he was 2 or 3 years old.  He is very friendly and loves to follow me around the house.

I need to get Cooper groomed, he will no longer let me trim.  Then I'll get a picture and post.  He squiggels out of anything, ,anyhow, anywhere!  All my dogs, except for my Jack Russell, have let me cut there hair and nails.  Jack Russell, Bailey, did not need hair cut!  So I must get him to a good groomer, one who has patience and knowledge of wiggley, furry critters.
I got Cooper Nov. 11, 2009, a month or so after loosing my Bailey.  He was rescued from a puppy mill and was one year old 10-9-09 when I got him.  I saw him in the cage, after looking all over the room, and I just knew.  I said, "Who do we have here?"  He was so calm and just looking around at all the people and dogs.  The foster mother, another women and I went into a room together to see if we jelled and after a short time,  I said I wanted to adopt him. His name was "Spike" because his hair on head stood up!  A Maltese named "Spike". lol
November 11, 2010 was one year together.  He is my shadow and ANGEL Cooper.

Hi DiAnne, that is so sweet of you to adopt Cooper. Those puppy mills have to be stopped. The conditions a lot of those poor dogs live in are beyond horrible. My friend adopted a momma dog last year also. She had 9 litters in her five years there and has had a lot of medical problems, but in spite of it all she has ajusted well to her life with my friend.God bless you for opening your home up to your angel.

I love so many other people's pets. I don't have any of my own anymore. Can't keep up with the care and loving needed to raise really good kids.

Pat that was sweet of you to offer your home to that poor little kitten.I think that some times cats have a tougher time getting adopted than a dog.Your kitties are waiting for you.I know that all mine are waiting for me.God blessyou!

Our pets can be real characters just like people and compete for our attention.
