How very informative. I know when you cook green beans you blanch them and then put them in ice water. I will give this a try.

I have always peeled potatoes after boiling them but I never scored the potato first. This is going into my memory file and it will be put to use next time I have to peel boiled potatoes.

For some reason I couldn't see the video. Computer failure I guess. lots of times when my potatoes are boiled the skins split themselves while cooking so they are easy to peel.

Clean potato skin, use a fork to put holes in potato, place in microwave. Peel very carefully.
