Sugar 'n Spice Nuts
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 1/2 cup nuts -- pecans or walnuts.
(I use pecan halves)
Combine everything - except nuts - in large saucepan.
Cook over low heat to 236 - 240* (soft ball stage)
Pour in nuts and stir until creamy. Pile onto waxed
paper and separate clumps with two forks.
