Not only should we remember this date, everyone should make an effort to visit Pearl Harbor.  It is an inspiring sight....memories will vividly appear behind your eye lids.  It is also a sombering sight....to think that anyone would do such a thing to our country!  If you visit, you will be very surprised to see who visits this sight by the busloads.

We all need to remember Pearl Harbor - only then can we learn for the future from the past.  We don't need the same mistakes to occur again and again.  Our troops past and present need to be in our thoughts and prayers.

One of the most amazing Memorials I have ever seen.  Do you know that oil still seeps up to the surface from the Arizona?
You can see a faint bit of the oil on the surface of the water.

My dad served in World War II and was stationed in Okinawa. Hope I spelled that right.
I have all his medals and patches that he wore and a lot of pictures. He told us a lot of
stories about the war. He was very proud of serving and we were proud of him!! I miss
my dad!!! He passed away in 1995 and he was my hero!!!!
