This morning the little church down the road had its annual pancake breakfast.  We always go to support them and this morning they had homemade  maple syrup.  Sooooo much better than the bottled stuff they call pancake syrup that has not a hint of maple in it.  They always also have sugar free syrup for those who can't have sugar.  I can't imagine what's in that though

Every March the Rotary Club has a pancake breakfast out in Burton Ohio every Suday in the month of March it's all you can eat pancakes and homemade sausage with real maple syrup Oh so good ! I look forward to going at least once. I used to tap our Maple tree and three of my brothers , it was a lot of work but the syrup was oh so good!

I love supporting pancake breakfasts. The pancakes always taste better, for some reason, and I always eat too many!

I like to eat pancakes for breakfast, but I don't want to take the time to cook them myself.  Lazy, I guess.

Our usual after Church bunch went to a quaint little place for a brunch today.  It was out in the farm area, and it turned out to be a Farmer's Breakfast.  They had everything you could imagine!  There were potatoes, eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, fried mush, bisquits and gravy, French Toast, Frittata, and at the end of the line, there was an array of sweets.  We may just have to try that again another Sunday morning.

My husband is the breakfast cook in our house.  He is an expert in making buttermilk pancakes and waffles.  However, today he made(on my suggestion) French toast which was stuffed with Nutella, fresh raspberries, and chopped walnuts.  I had made some fresh raspberry syrup to pour over the french toast.  It was truly gourmet!!

This week we'll have pancakes for supper on Tuesday.  Our church sponsors a boy scout troup and they do the pancake supper every year on shrove Tuesday.  We've bought our tickets to support the boys

I love pancakes for Breakfast, my husband makes really great homemade Pancakes
he made some for me this past Saturday and they were light and while making two for me
he put in  a fewToll house Butter scotch morsels in a couple for me they were yummy.
He usually puts in Toll house Semi sweet Morsels but I had butter scotch and a container of the semi - sweet morsels in the fridge.
 Yummy

Thanks to all for the great ideas.  I may just have to make pancakes or french toast with nutella for breakfast next weekend or maybe on the 4th.
