Hello my fellow VBB's!! Just a quick reminder about my project for deployed men and women! Please feel free to take part in this awesome program! As a military spouse I know first hand how important it is for those serving far away on foreign soil to feel our love and cheer!!

Operation Christmas Cards is for EVERYONE!!

If you will have a deployed military family member or friend during the holiday season and would like to have them receive cards please email their name and overseas address (will not be shared), by October 31^st, 2011, to opChristmascards@gmail.com . We will be more than happy to send a box of love and holiday cheer....with enough to share with others.... and is open to any branch of the military! This is a FREE program and we know that our deployed service members LOVE getting greetings from home!!Thank you! PS: You do NOT have to donate cards to participate!! I did get on the website and printed it off for my Lionettes meeting on Nov. 22nd. I did not see what can be sent in the care packages for the soldiers? We might be too late for the Christmas cards but we still could send a care package. So, if there is a list that I could get, that would be great!

Thanks for the reminder. Our church did it last year and I am sure our men and women in the armed forces need to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers especially at the time when we are enjoying family and friends because they are out there protecting our freedoms. We pray for them every day.

I have another question for you, do you send care packages year around or just for Christmas? Our Lionettes Club would donate items for these care packages too.
