Blueberries are great just to eat out of your hand but they make a great pancake syrup too.Great in a pie or as a topping for cheesecake.Or how about a sweetened ricotta filled crepe with blueberry sauce pour on top.My son makes a blueberry muffin trifle that is out of this world.Blueberry muffins are layered with vanilla pudding, cool whip and fresh blueberries all through it.OH YUMMY!

I love blueberries!  My favorite thing to do with them is make a blueberry pie or maybe blueberry jam.

Blueberries......they are the ONLY fruit that I do not like and will not eat!  Hubby loves them....so I buy them for him.  I prefer Strawberries; but Raspberries and Blackberrys are my next favorites.

We have blueberry bushes that grow in our backyard.  I pick them since my husband loves them.  I make him muffins, pies & blueberry syrups.  I prefer the blackberries & raspberries that I have to track down to pick!  My all time favorite berry is the strawberry!

I like blueberries but a lot of what's in the stores lack flavor.  Maybe because they pick them too early?  When I find good(flavorful) ones I stock up and freeze them.  Great in just about anything baked or just eating them with some whipped cream, yum.   Frozen blueberries, or grapes, are like a little popsicle in the summer.

I like to add blueberries to an apple crisp!!  It really gives a new dimensions to the dish.  I often buy blueberries at Costco.  They are usually pretty fresh and are better than the ones you get at a Supermarket.  Of course if I had some that were ready to pick nearby those would be the best!!

I had never been overly fond of blueberries until I started eating a salad that a grocery store has on their salad bar.  I also have not been one to purchase a salad from a grocery salad bar since they are over priced. that said I started with this salad since it looked so good and I did not think I could make it for what they were selling it for if I purchased all the things for the salad.
It is a mix of:
baby spinach
blueberries
raspberries
feta or sometimes bleu cheese
pecans

I will get a container and add a bit more bleu cheese.
I have never had to put a dressing on the salad because the fruit and cheese add a nice flavor without a dressing.
Now that spring is here and the price of the fruits will be dropping a bit I will be making this salad rather than getting it from the store.  Not just that but since my move the store is not that close.  (I can't justify driving 40 miles round trip for a salad!)
