I think our dog needs to read "I will always come when called", there are times when she just lifts her head & looks but just stays where she is. I have to say "come see what I have" to get her moving.

My resolution is to take it one day at a time, be thankful that I wake up to face another day, any aches or pains reminds me that I am alive.

A few years ago my resolution was = when I am in line at the cash register, I  let the person behind me go before me if they just have a few items (you would not believe the look on the face, I guess it is hard to believe that a senior citizen would be nice to a "youngster" plus when I pass in front of a person looking at items on the shelf, I always say 'excuse me", it makes me smile inside when I later hear a person do the same who earlier was not so polite Smile.

I don't make resolutions, but do try every day to be a better sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor. It isn't easy but when I say it everyday, sometimes it works wonders and being nice to people makes one feel so much better and to see someone smile is a great gift.

she must be kin to my jenny, but i found a bell ringer for her---------------------i always kept her treats in an acryllic canister with a squeeze top lid---------but last year my niece stayed with me for several weeks with her dog--------and one day while we were away--------buster-------ate the lid and destroyed the canister------------not to be defeated by him--------------------i went to walmart and bought one of those large glass canisters they call apothecary jars------------------i have found that if i roll the lid around it makes a kind of clang/ringing sound that immediately starts her in the direction of the back door-----and a piece of "bacon"

i don't really do resolutions, but every year my sisters and I do a "clean one thing" each day.  It can be one shelf, one drawer or things like that, depending on how much time we have.  By reporting to each other every day what we've done, we keep it up longer into the year.  We do emails daily.  I have 2 sisters.
