Yes, Carolyn, welcome to VBB!! Nancy is right....none of us have any idea what the brownie points will be used for. Many of us have given VBB some suggestions but they haven't clued us in yet on what they are going to do! Hopefully, they will make up their minds before the end of the year when usually the brownie point program for the year has come to an end.

Welcome to the newbies! Hopefully we will all know soon what we can do with the brownie points(besides lose them LOL). Since the year is almost over, I wonder when VBB will let us know about the big surprise. How about it VBB?

I'm wondering that, too, H.M. Normally the brownie points program ends at the end of each year. I can't wait to hear what they are going to do! Anticipation!!! Had to smile at your comment there about losing our points.....that was cute!

Indeed, welcome! I'm glad I'm not the only one who wonders about our brownie points - but weren't we all mad when the new site came up and we seemed to have lost our points earned up until then??? And weren't we relieved when they reappeared??? Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday. We got pretty much snowed in last night. A wonderful excuse to (drum roll, please) BAKE COOKIES!!!

You're right, Erica, nice to get our points back again, wasn't it? I think that had all of us concerned after we'd worked so hard throughout the year building up our points. I sure like Nancy's idea there about the chocolate chips!! I'd also like to see VBB give some free aprons for the points. I have one that I won a few years ago and I wear it all the time when I bake. Even get compliments if someone comes to the door while I have it on baking! One gentleman asked me if this was the Toll-House Cookie Shop!!!
We have snow from this past week's storm but nothing yet today here. They are saying later this afternoon or tonight and we are supposed to get sleet! I'd much rather have snow anyday than sleet.

How do you put an avatar on? I tried to add a photo for myself this morning (clicked on my non-picture and hunted all over on my page) and couldn't find anywhere to do it. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi Erica, it's not too hard to do. I couldn't find where to do it at first either, so you're not the only one!
See at the top of the page here on the right where it says MY VBB and MY RECIPE BOX? Click on MY VBB to go to your page. Once there, click on ACCOUNT SETTINGS. The next page is where you can put in info and change your avatar photo. Right under where it says BASIC INFORMATION will be your avatar. A little box will be under it saying CHOOSE. Click on the choose box and that will open the box on your PC where you can find and choose a photo for your avatar. Be sure to choose to upload it as a jpeg. I hope this helps you some! I'll be watching for your new avatar! Good luck!!

Nancy, I don't think that many chocolate chips are produced in a year to give you 1 bag for each point. Especially since, if I am correct, you have a stock pile of chocolate chips yourself. I think you might just be able to sell them back to Nestle. Nice try though!
