Thank you for the reminder!! I have atrial fibrillation, but am doing fine with medication. I'll put it on my calendar!!!
P.S. My mother died of a heart attack, so it has double meaning for me!

Heart disease runs in our family. My mother and other relatives had it. My son had open heart surgery when he was a baby. Thank God he is doing well. I have atrial fib and am on medication. Found out I had it several years ago when I passed out in Church and was taken to the hospital.

For many years I have canvased my neighborhood to collect for the Heart Association.

I lost my Mom to heart disease. She had a quad open heart by-pass and 2 weeks later, she passed away!

I plan on wear red this year as much as possible. Did any one see the commercial about men not giving Diamonds for Valentine's Day but giving their family Jewels? Its a first for men to check for testicular cancer.

Heart disease is the number one killer in my family,both sides.I will wear red on February 4th.I also have coronary artery disease and with lots of prayers and the care of my doctors I'm still here 14 years later.They have made a lot of progress but still need to make more,this is the #1 killer of women.Prayers to all and take care of yourselfs.

I have an appointment on Feb. 4th with a vascular surgeon. I guess I should have worn red a lot sooner. 5 heart attacks and 3 TIAs so far.
