Still trying to get my "little" push mower fixed so I can do my back and side where it is difficult to get the electric mower.
So those two areas are a bit long right now. The rest I mowed on Monday so it is looking good.  We just got quite a bit of rain so it will all be due again but I think I am going to raise the mower so the grass stays a bit longer going into the hotter drier months. That is if we get drier months. I have been pretty lucky in that I have not had to water a lot.

Our lawn looks like it needs harvested.  The bermuda grass grows like crazy in this humid heat in SE AR.

After these past few days the only way to mow the lawn would be with an airboat!
We had over 5 inches of rain last night/this morning!
Roads around me closed and there looks to be a train track that the rocks and soil under the tracks has been washed out.
Far cry from last year when I was watering trees and shrubs.

Well I just finished the back and side yard.  The front will have to wait until tomorrow.  The ground is still so wet and I have a lot of weeds to pull. It looks like it is going to rain  a g a i n !!!! The dragonflies are having a feeding frenzy in the back yard.  I have a bit of a swale and there is water still and I saw a lot of little mosquitoes now that the grass is a bit shorter they have less of a hiding place so the dragonflies are after them.  They can eat away to their hearts content. Birds are going a bit crazy as well.  There is plenty for all.
