Has anyone tried the mini morsel toppers? If so, how do they taste?
I read that for the holidays they will have a red & green mix, it would have been nice if the red were candy cane flavored. I think a mint green would be a good seller, easy to mix in ice cream or hot chocolate or just nibble out of hand.

Fran - I've tried the mini morsels and, in my opinion, they taste like chocolate chips.
I think Nestles should make mint morsels in all sizes.

Iwas at my friends house and she was baking with the mini morsel butterscotch chips and they where great tasting cookies.

Sorry, I should have underlined toppers. I wanted to know if they tasted better than the cho. chips that you bake with. Since they go on AFTER baking, I thought they would taste more like candy.

I have both the whilte and chocolate ones. I have used the chocolate ones on cupcakes and they are cute and add a nice touch! Like someone said, they are just mini chips (very small), so you use them as toppings on cakes or cupcakes or brownies...whatever you want. I haven't seen the holiday ones...are they out yet?

Our Meijer store said they got "1" box of dark cho. & mint morsels, & no holiday morsels or toppers. The clerk said to complaine to the Nestle company. I found the white toppers & they taste just like white cho. candy.
I picked out a few green mint morsels to try & I barely tasted the mint.

I have not tried them yet, cuirious to know where to look for them.
here in Culpeper Va we have a martins food store, a target, a walmart, two Food Lions, and a Safe way
and an aldi.
hopefully one of them will have it. if not i can always plan a trip to Fredericksburg, charlottesville or gainesville
to look in those places.
