We'll be eating lots and lots of salads this summer since my husband decided to plant a LOT of lettuce. Maybe I can even talk "HIM" into doing the grilling for a change lol.
I love doing kabobs on the grill. Any kind is good but my favorite is teriyaki marinated chicken with mushrooms, green peppers, onion and cherry tomatoes. Pasta salad with tomatoes, onion, and sliced black olives is great as a side dish(a little olive oil and some seasoning and it's ready to go). Sometimes I add cubed cheese and hard-boiled eggs for some protein and serve as a main dish. I also make a lot of fruit salads for dessert, whatever is in season goes in those.
