Tomorrow night is a special party after services at church ..... graduation celebration for a young man.
I'm taking enough cookies for about 100 people!

This morning I'm going to church to clean.  This afternoon I was planning on meeting another woman to decorate for the party but we're supposed to get about 3" of snow starting around noon.   Yikes!  I don't drive in/on snow.

Your Mad Hatter Tea Party sounds like fun, especially since I went to a performance of "Alice in Wonderland" at my granddaughter's middle school last night.  Have a great time, and let us know the results.  I am part of a group that is hosting a bridge luncheon on Monday for charity.  See the recipes under the holidays and entertaining forum.

I don't "do" hats...hat head.  Besides I have never found a hat that I think looks good on me.  I suppose the secret is to wear a hat with confidence and the world will just think you look great in your hat.  Probably will try that on my next vacation. You can "be someone different" while on vacation.

That sounds like fun.  I don't have any parties coming up until my Dad's birthday.

Hi everyone. The party was fun. Almost everyone wore hats and mine was a funny tall green felt hat with flowers that brought some smiles to a few people. Most of the ladies wore nice garden hats with flowers, but I wanted to appear as a "Mad Hatter" and I did. Some of the organizations leaders were dressed in costume, Alice, the March Hare, The Queen of Hearts. There were decorated tables with teapots and tea cups, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. I even won something in the Chinese Auction as did some of the other ladies at my table.

There were finger sandwiches made by Panera Bread and also supplemented by our CCW along with scones, cookies, cakes, fruit and other condiments, and of course differnt types of tea!
