Gale, I am so sorry to hear about your husband. Take comfort in the fact that he is not suffering. YOU have the harder job, to go on without him. I wish for you to remember the good times and forget any unhappy memories of sickness or pain.

Gale, I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. After being together all those years it will be really hard for you. I remember when my Dad died, my mother was really lost. They had been married 62 years. Family will help.

Thank all of you very kind people.I have to be here for my kids even though they are grown. There are so may things that are going on in my life now that I wish my hubby was here to tell him.Someday we will be together again and I will have so many wonderful things to share with him.He will be missed by our families,friends, co workers, his patients.and mostly me.God Bless You All.

I've started going through some things here because we will be moving in about a month.I came across some cards that my hubby had given me over the years.I found great comfort in the words that he had written.Some brought a smile to my face.We have such great history between the two of us.He was my best friend and confidant.
